Disclosed is a fireplace which includes a firebase, a primary combustion zone with a first air supply unit, a secondary combustion zone, and an exhaust flue. The fireplace place also includes a charcoal/reduction layer which forms between the primary combustion zone and the secondary combustion zone, the arrangement and construction being such that the gases and/or particulate matter produced from the pyrolysis and/or combustion of the biomass fuel in the primary combustion zone have to pass over, or through, the charcoal/reduction layer prior to entering the secondary combustion zone and/or the exhaust flue. The fireplace also includes a second air supply unit for introducing heated secondary air into, or adjacent to, the secondary combustion zone, the arrangement and construction being such that the secondary air passes through (or adjacent to the region of) the charcoal/reduction layer to thus heat the secondary air.

A solid fuel combustion device includes: a fuel supply device including a firewood feed pipe or another fuel supplier; a primary combustion chamber coupled to the fuel supply device; a secondary combustion chamber including a wall formed of a fireproof material and having a structure in which a space is formed at a side of the combustion gas outlet of the primary combustion chamber to induce primary combustion gas to be secondarily expanded and combusted; and an air supply system including at least one air supply device in an entire combustion path formed in the primary combustion chamber and the secondary combustion chamber.

Wood-burning stove with internal baffles for increased burn times
10228142 · 2019-03-12 ·

A wood-burning stove includes a first baffle spaced apart from the stove's front wall and extending from the stove's floor towards its ceiling to a height in a range of (0.65-0.75) of the stove's internal height. An air intake chamber is defined between the stove's front wall and first baffle. A firebox is defined between the first baffle and the stove's back wall. A second baffle is coupled to the stove's back wall at a position thereon below the stove's flue port. The second baffle extends from the back wall towards the first baffle to a second baffle depth of (0.7-0.85) of the stove's firebox depth. The second baffle terminates at an outboard edge that is spaced apart from the stove's ceiling to define a flow area in a range of 0.5-1.0 times a cross-sectional area of the flue port.

Gasification stove

A gasification stove includes an upper housing including an upper hollow body and a dome section, and a lower housing including a lower hollow body that form a stove chamber when connected to each other. A separator for collecting a gas and flame generated from burning of the biomass is arranged in the stove chamber and includes a bowl section and a chimney section. The bowl section has a first set of holes, and an upper part of the chimney section has a second set of holes. The upper part of the chimney section is air-tightly attached to an edge of a chimney opening of the upper housing. At least some of the gas flows through the first set of holes and the second set of holes to enter into the chimney section so as to react with the flame or hot air in the chimney section to generate additional flame power.

Solid fuel heating device

Heating devices and methods for mitigating heating device pollution are generally described. In an example embodiment, a heating device includes a primary combustion chamber for combustion of a fuel. A first and a second secondary combustion chamber are in fluid communication with the primary combustion chamber for receiving an exhaust flow of combustion products from the primary combustion chamber and are configured for combustion of one or more combustion products received from the primary combustion chamber. The first and second secondary combustion chambers may provide parallel fluid paths from the primary combustion chamber. A secondary combustion selector is provided for selectively allowing the exhaust flow through the first and second secondary combustion chambers.

High efficiency solid fuel burning stove with optimized burning conditions and low level of emission

A solid fuel stove uses a dynamically controlled Combustion Fan and a Smart Controller system for automatic regulation of combustion conditions through the controlled forced air circulation based on sensors readings. The stove also uses emission reducing and efficiency boosting equipment such as a co-axial stack heat recovery sub-system and a self-cleaning particulate collector with enhanced particulates trapping capabilities.
