GRILL APPARATUS AND FIREBOX ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN A GRILL
A grill apparatus includes a bottom portion, a lid portion, a firebox and an ash bucket. The lid portion is coupled to the bottom portion forming a cooking chamber. The bottom portion receives the firebox. A support structure of the firebox rests on an inner surface of the bottom portion. An inner surface of the bottom port, the support structure of the firebox and a firebox lower opening define a first air path from a lower portion of the cooking chamber to a heat chamber. The ash bucket includes an air vent extending from a base of the ash bucket base into an internal ash receptacle and has an upper vent aperture with a vent cover connected to the air vent. The cover is disposed over an upper vent aperture to further define the first air path.
Forced primary and forced secondary air biomass internal combustion top-lid updraft cook stove
The invention is a novel Top-Lit-Updraft cook stove with internal forced primary and secondary air, designed to burn biomass. The cook stove is specifically designed to cleanly burn biomass. The stoves design innovations include a cylinder-within-cylinder design to provide heated, forced secondary to the burner area right below the burner. The burner design addresses limitations in previous cookstove burner design by implementing a bluff body design to direct syngas to the secondary air jets, improving mixing and combustion of volatile gases.
Selectively Closable Hatch
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a selectively-closable hatch for automatically preventing airflow through the blower inlet of a fuel-burning grill. The hatch has a first, normal, resting closed configuration which prevents the flow of air through the inlet and into the cooking chamber of the grill, and a second, open configuration which is obtained when a fan is engaged to create a forceful airflow through the inlet path. The force of air pushed against the hatch pushes the hatch open, both when the fan is disengaged or falls below a minimum strength, the hatch returns to the closed configuration and prevents air from being drawn or otherwise flowing through the inlet path into the cooking chamber of the grill.
COOKING DEVICE
A heating assembly for a cooking device is provided herein. The heating assembly may include a burn box having a body defining a pot and a receptacle. The pot and receptacle can be separated from each other by a divider. An ignitor extends into the pot. A duct is fluidly coupled with the receptacle and is configured to extend between the receptacle and a housing surrounding the burn box. The duct defines an inlet within the receptacle and an outlet on the opposing end portion of the duct.
PELLET SMOKER
A floor and an upright sidewall formed from two vertically coaxial components, each component having a floor baffle with a plurality of floor openings defined therein, each floor retained within a respective upright sidewall with a plurality of sidewall openings defined therein. The floor openings and the sidewall openings cooperate between the two coaxial components such that flow of gases through the floor and upright sidewall of the baffle structure is controlled by rotation of the two vertically coaxial components relative to one another.
CERAMIC PELLET GRILL
A pellet grill includes a ceramic oven body and a ceramic inner liner. The oven body includes a first through-hole in its side. A conduit is inserted through the first through-hole into the oven body. A firepot is removably coupled to the conduit toward an end of the conduit that is within the oven body. The inner liner conforms to a shape of, and fits to a portion of, an oven body inner wall. The inner liner covers the conduit and includes a second through-hole aligned with the firepot. A bulge in the inner liner conforms to a shape of the conduit within the ceramic oven body and may protect the conduit from cooking debris and from heat, rising from a flame in the firepot, that circulates within a portion of the oven body that is above the inner liner. The firepot receives fuel and air via the conduit.
CHIP FUEL FEEDER
An apparatus for feeding a fuel, characterized as irregularly shaped fuel chips, from a storage bin to a burner of a cooking grill, includes a conveyance having a plurality of vanes movable from a first position proximate to a fuel source to a second position proximate to a fuel delivery chute leading to the burner. A fuel supply is arranged to feed the fuel to the first position. A chute is arranged having a first end proximate to the second position and a second end proximate to the burner for delivery of the fuel from the vanes at the second position to the burner. The vanes are arranged to scoop up the fuel from the fuel source at the first position, and to deposit the fuel at the second position into the first end of the chute.
OVEN
Disclosed is an oven, applied for baking a pizza, including: a casing, a side cover, a driven panel, and a temperature sensor. The casing is provided with a baking tray, a combustion chamber and a feeding chamber, the baking tray is arranged on one side of the combustion chamber, the combustion chamber is communicated with the feeding chamber, the feeding chamber is provided with a feeding mechanism, and the feeding mechanism can transport a fuel into the combustion chamber. A lower end of the side cover is hinged with the casing. The driven panel is arranged on an outer wall of the casing, the driven panel is electrically connected to the feeding mechanism. The temperature sensor is arranged in the casing, the temperature sensor is electrically connected to the driven panel.
JAMMING RESISTANT AUGER FOR COOKER
The present invention relates to an improved auger system for delivering combustible material to a burn box within a cooker, such as a grill or smoker. The invention features a pivotable coupling between the auger shaft and the drive motor, enabling the auger to adjust its alignment within the tube to accommodate irregularly shaped materials, thus minimizing jamming and improving the consistency of material delivery. In some embodiments, the system also incorporates a mechanism to prevent material bridging in the hopper, ensuring the continuous flow of material into the auger tube as well as an auger cover flap pivotably mounted at the outlet end of an auger tube, which is configured to control the flow of combustible material from the auger tube into the burn box.
