CEMENT KILN BURNER DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME
A cement kiln burner device includes a powdered-solid-fuel flow channel, a first air flow channel placed inside the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel to be adjacent to the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel, having means for swirling an air flow, an outer air flow-channel group placed concentrically in an outermost side outside the powdered-solid-fuel flow channel, having three or more second air flow channels adapted to form means for straightly forwarding an air flow, and a combustible-solid-waste flow channel placed inside the first air flow channel. The second air flow channels are placed proximally to each other in a radial direction within a range where air flows ejected from the respective second air flow channels are merged to form a single air flow, and are configured to control flow rates of the air flow ejected from the respective second air flow channels, independently for each second air flow channel.
MODULAR BURNER AND FURNACE INCLUDING THIS BURNER
A burner includes a porous support and a combustion tube along which is mounted the porous support. The combustion tube has one or more openings configured to pass fuel to the porous support. The combustion tube is formed by a plurality of tubular modules assembled together. The burner includes at least one distribution tube extending inside the combustion tube and configured to distribute fuel in a predetermined manner in the combustion tube.
KILN CONTROL
A gas fired burner control system for a kiln for firing for instance ceramic items. The system including a plurality of operating modes, with the system being configured such that during a firing cycle the system can move between operating in different modes.
ULTRA-LOW NOX MULTI-PORT BURNER APPARATUS
A burner apparatus and method of operating the burner apparatus include a burner housing, and a group of fuel and air swirlers maintained by the burner housing, with the group of fuel and air swirlers supplied by a common fuel and air source. The fuel and air can be directed to one or more of the fuel and air swirlers at a time. Each fuel and air swirler among the group of fuel and air swirlers can mix the fuel and the air, resulting in a combustible mixture of the fuel and the air downstream of the group of fuel and air swirlers. The burner apparatus be implemented as a low NOx multi-port burner apparatus.
APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT GASEOUS POLLUTANTS
An apparatus for treatment of gaseous pollutants, the apparatus comprising a reaction portion and a passage. The reaction portion comprises a gas inlet unit, a reaction unit, a combustion unit and a cooling unit. The passage comprises a transverse section, a connection section and a straight section, the transverse section is provided with a top gas inlet in communication with the reaction portion and a lateral gas inlet, the connection section is connected between the transverse section and the straight section, the top gas inlet receives an effluent passing through the reaction portion and then flowing downwards, the lateral gas inlet receives a transverse air flow, and the effluent is driven by the transverse gas flow to form a cyclone and is discharged from an outlet of the straight section by means of the connection section.
Method for operating a burner arrangement of a gas turbine
A method for operating a burner arrangement of a heat engine, particularly a gas turbine, having a plurality of burners, each having at least one pilot burner and main burner, in which method, on the basis of a preset operation of the heat engine, the total quantity of fuel supplied to the burners is maintained substantially constant in a load-controlled manner: in a first group of burners, for each burner, both the pilot burner as well as the main burner are supplied with fuel; in a second group of burners, the fuel supply to the main burners is interrupted, while the pilot burners continue to be operated; and the fuel quantity remaining as a result of the interruption of the fuel supply to the main burners of the second group is redistributed to the still active main burners of the first group. CO emissions are reduced as a result.
Heat exchanger for gas appliance and method for manufacturing heat exchanger for gas appliance
A secondary heat exchanger includes a case and a first heat transfer tube portion. The case includes a box body and a first closing member. The box body is provided with a second opening on one side in a third direction. A first assembly in which the first heat transfer tube portion and the first closing member are assembled integrally is mounted to the box body so that a plurality of first heat transfer tubes are is inserted into the box body from the second opening and so that the second opening is closed by the first closing member.
Push/Pull Furnace and Methods Related Thereto
Example furnaces and methods related thereto are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the furnace includes a burner box including at least one burner configured to combust a fuel/air mixture. In addition, the furnace includes a first blower including an inlet nozzle having an air inlet and fuel inlet. The inlet nozzle is configured such that operation of the first blower is to pull air and fuel into the inlet nozzle to produce the fuel/air mixture at a fuel/air ratio that is configured to produce flue products having less than 14 Nano-grams per Joule of nitrogen oxides when combusted. Operation of the first blower is configured to push the fuel/air mixture into the burner box. Further, the furnace includes a heat exchanger assembly fluidly coupled to the burner box through a vestibule, and a second blower configured to pull the flue products through the heat exchanger assembly.
