LOW MASS TRAMPOLINE ENCLOSURE SYSTEM
A lightweight trampoline enclosure system has a bed subsystem and an enclosure subsystem. The enclosure subsystem comprises netting suspended from a plurality of flexible poles. Upon a jumper's impact into the surrounding enclosure subsystem, the energy of the jumper's impact is absorbed and distributed outward and away from the location of impact and into the trampoline bed subsystem.
STANDING SURFACE TO ENCOURAGE MOVEMENT
A shaped standing mat or base providing a trampoline-like rebounding surface that is a highly responsive and dynamic support surface for a standing person where that person is able to maintain a proper stance relative to their foot angle, and to engage in mild exercise movement and foot rotation and stretching without undue interruption of mental concentration in a work or other environment.
Flexible exercise and rehabilitation bar
An exercise and rehabilitation bar including a flexing bar, at least one resistance insert, and at least one handle. The flexing bar has a first end, a second end, and a cavity running from the first end to the second end. The at least one resistance insert is removably carried within the cavity of the flexing bar and the at least one handle is removably securable to either the first or second end of the flexing bar.
Trampolines and Mat Connectors for Trampolines
A trampoline or trampoline system including: a frame or other foundation; biasing means mounted to said frame or other foundation; and a plurality of jumping mats connected to selected first ones of said biasing means respectively above said frame or other foundation in side by side relationship, said selected first ones of said biasing means being arranged to bias said mats outwards to tension said mats, and said plurality of mats being operatively connected to each other along respective adjacent portions thereof, and selected second ones of said biasing means being arranged to bias said mats upwards; and wherein adjacent mats are connected to each other along adjacent portions thereof by selected third ones of said biasing means arranged to bias adjacent mats towards each other.
Core Exercising Stool
A core exercising stool enables a user to exercise specific muscle groups by performing oscillatory motions. The stool has a seat, a collapsible frame, and a seat actuation assembly. The collapsible frame is a support structure that maintains the seat at a desired height. To accomplish this, the collapsible frame has a set of length-adjustable legs and a base support on which the legs are mounted. The length adjustable legs enable the user to adjust the modify the height of the stool as desired. The seat actuation assembly is a coupling mechanism that establishes an articulated connection between the seat and the collapsible frame. Specifically, the seat-actuation assembly is connected in between the seat and the collapsible frame. Accordingly, the user is able to move the seat through oscillating motions while performing core strength exercises.
Baseball swing trainer
A baseball swing trainer. The baseball swing trainer includes a housing having a base, a rear wall, and a top portion defining an open center area. A plurality of resistance blades extend downward from the top portion such that they are positioned within the open center area. A fastener is disposed on the rear wall for securing the swing trainer to a vertical structure such as a pole or tree. When a user swings a bat through the open center area, the resistance blades resist the motion of the bat. This enables the user to develop the muscles that are activated during the swing, which helps to increase swing speed and strength. A resistance band removably affixed to the vertical structure can be connected to the end of a bat to accelerate the bat through the natural swing plane, which enhances the neurological firing rate related to swing musculature.
Grip exerciser with interchangeable resistance elements
Exerciser for strengthening the grip of the hand and/or muscles of the forearm having a pair of handgrips or handles which are removably mounted on the arms of a helical torsion spring in a manner permitting the grips to be used interchangeably with springs having different strengths or resistances. The handgrips are fabricated at least in part of rubber or other rubberized material with longitudinally extending bores having resilient side walls configured for frictional engagement with spring arms of different diameters in a manner that permits rotational slippage of the handgrips about the spring arms and limits axial movement of the handgrips on the spring arms when the grip exerciser is in use and permits the handgrips to slide axially along the spring arms during installation and removal of the handgrips.
WEIGHT COLLAR
A weight collar for retaining a weight on a bar, comprising a bar engaging section having an opening for receiving the bar therethrough and a weight engaging section having proximal and distal ends, the weight engaging section extending from the bar engaging section so as to extend at least partially toward the weight when the bar engaging section receives the bar through the opening, the bar engaging section being configured to engage the bar with a gripping force as the weight exerts a rotational force on the distal end of the weight engaging section so as to prevent the weight from sliding off the bar, the distal end of the weight engaging section being orthogonally spaced at least 1 inch from a central axis of the opening, a center of gravity of the collar being orthogonally spaced at least 0.1 inches from the central axis toward the distal end.
Ball pitching training device
A ball pitching training device including a flexible inner rod with a handle disposed on a bottom end and an adjustable connection head protruding from a top end. Adjustment apertures are vertically aligned on the connection head. A support cushion encircles a portion of the inner rod. A body strap is disposed on the inner rod by a pair of rings. An adjustment clip is disposed on the body strap and adjusts a length of the body strap. An attachable ball comprises a resistance band, a circular attachment clip, and a baseball. The attachment clip attaches the resistance band and baseball to the connection head by engaging one of the adjustment apertures. A user wears the body strap, securing the device, grasps the baseball and simulates a throwing movement. The resistance band and flexible inner rod provide resistance against the movement and promote muscle growth and proper throwing form.
Trampolines
A trampoline including: a frame including a plurality of frame segments/units connected together, each segment including lower and upper frame members secured together in spaced apart relationship for assembly with other like segments/units; a plurality of spaced apart flexible and resilient plates connected to the lower frame member of each segment/unit and extending upwards therefrom; a jumping mat extending between said plates and being operatively connected at or adjacent its periphery thereto, said plates engaging the upper frame member of each segment/unit respectively above the lower frame member of the respective segment and being arranged for movement inwards and outwards towards the opposite side of said mat and/or up and down in response to a user jumping on said mat, the plates having an upper portion preformed to have a bend in one direction and a lower portion preformed to have a bend in the opposite direction.
