Ergonomic Strength Conditioning Grip
An ergonomic grip for strength conditioning has a grip body composed of three adjoined, progressively larger oblate spheroids. The major and minor diameters of the spheroids and their spacings combine to form invected surfaces at the junctions of first and second and second and third spheroids. These invected surfaces admit curved fingers of a grasping hand to provide a secure grip while eliminating a common problem of the little finger (4th finger) of the hand being crushed or discomforted.
A central shaft passes through the grip body and includes an attachment affordance at one protruding end, and is coupled to a washer at the other end. A central cavity in the grip body allows the spheroids to compliantly conform to the inner concavities of an individual user's palm for increased comfort and positive grip.
DYNAMOMETER
A dynamometer may include a grip portion extending along a longitudinal axis for gripping by at least a portion of a human hand or foot, and a sensor or plurality of sensors distributed along or below a surface of the grip portion. The sensor or plurality of sensors are configured to detect force exerted by the portion of the human hand or foot in directions radial and tangential to the grip portion such that grip strength and wrist strength of the human may be sensed by the sensor or plurality of sensors.
Exercise and sitting apparatus and method
An exercise apparatus comprises a main body with a cavity that can be selectively covered with a lid. The main body is angled to increase the range of motion of a user of the apparatus. At least a portion of the lid is selectively housed within the cavity. A smaller scale embodiment of the exercise apparatus can be utilized as a sitting apparatus that corrects posture while a user is in a seated position. A method of exercise comprises a variety of steps which can be performed by a user while the user remains on his or her back.
Fitness training bags
A fitness training bag provided in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure includes a body having an outer bag, and inner bag, and a filler. The outer bag encloses a first interior area therein and is water-permeable. The inner bag is disposed within the first interior area, encloses a second interior area therein, and is also water-permeable. The filler is disposed within second interior area and includes a plurality of pieces of material that are non-absorbent, drainable, and non-packable. At least some of the plurality of pieces of material are resiliently compressible so as to be shock-absorbing. At least one handle is stitched to the body. The at least one handle is configured to facilitate manipulation of the body to perform an exercise.
Stabilization enhancement exercise device and associated method
A device for facilitating or enhancing torso and pelvis stability exercises includes two elongate semi-cylindrical resiliently compressible members so coupled to one another as to maintain a mutually parallel configuration, the resiliently compressible members each having a planar side and a cylindrically arcuate side, the planar sides being co-planar with one another. A user attachment component holds the resiliently compressible members to the user with the planar sides in contact with the user in one use configuration and so that the arcuate sides are in contact with the user in an alternate use configuration.
Proprioceptive feedback assist device and associated method
A device for facilitating or enhancing proprioceptive feedback during breathing and related exercises includes a user attachment component attachable to a user about the thorax. Two elongate tensile members are connected at proximal ends to the user attachment component at points essentially just below the armpits of a user. These two elongate tensile members are connectable at their distal ends to the feet of the user. Another two tensile members are connected at their proximal ends to a back portion or strap of the harness and at their distal ends to or about the user's hands.
Virtual reality archery training system
An adjustable archery training bow assembly includes a single resistance element and an adjustment mechanism that can be actuated by a user to vary the tension level in the resistance element for training purposes. The training bow also includes a mount for receiving a mobile device, which allows the user to practice various augmented reality-archery training scenarios. The adjustable archery training bow is used to enhance the user's skills, such as his/her strength, stability, and accuracy to help deliver on-target an arrow fired from a real, non-training bow.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AN EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a flat base having a first end and an opposing second end. The base is configured to engage a flat exercise surface. The exercise device further includes a pair of opposing sidewalls extending away from the base and an arcuate upper surface extending between the first end and the second end between the pair of opposing sidewalls. A first angle is defined between the base and the upper surface proximate the first end and a second angle is defined between the base and the upper surface proximate the second end. The exercise device also includes a coccyx cutout in the upper surface proximate at least one of the first end and the second end.
TRAINING DEVICES AND METHODS
The disclosure provides embodiments of a training device and related methods of use.
Sports mat
The invention relates to a sports mat which consists of a flexible material and has a longitudinal direction (L) and a transverse direction (Q) perpendicular thereto, comprising a rectangular mat longitudinal subarea (2) and a rectangular mat transverse subarea (3) which intersects the mat longitudinal subarea (2) forming a T shape, an extension of the mat longitudinal subarea (2) in the transverse direction (Q) along a leg section (6) of the T being not more than half the size than a longest transverse extension of the mat transverse subarea (Q).
