Device and method for sensing, guiding, and/or tracking pelvic exercise
Devices such as medical devices, including those for use in conducting pelvic muscle exercise, are generally provided. Embodiments herein relate generally to the medical device and consumer medical product fields, and in some embodiments, to a device for sensing, guiding, and/or tracking pelvic muscle exercise in men and women for the purpose of treating urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and other pelvic conditions.
VIRTUAL REALITY ARCHERY TRAINING SYSTEM
An adjustable archery training bow assembly includes a single resistance element and an adjustment mechanism that can be actuated by a user to vary the tension level in the resistance element for training purposes. The training bow also includes a mount for receiving a mobile device, which allows the user to practice various augmented reality-archery training scenarios. The adjustable archery training bow is used to enhance the user's skills, such as his/her strength, stability, and accuracy to help deliver on-target an arrow fired from a real, non-training bow.
MULTI-SPORT ATHLETIC RESISTANCE TRAINING BELT
An athletic training belt including: a first part comprising a radially internal and radially constrictable waist belt; a second part connected to the first part, the second part being a radially external and circumferentially rigid annular frame, wherein the annular frame includes an annular track, a mechanical connector that slidably moves about the track, and an aperture for connecting with athletic training equipment; wherein the annular frame comprises frame portions that move relative to each other, wherein the training belt is reversibly closable to form an annular loop; and a third part fixedly connected to a radially internal surface of the annular frame, wherein the third part flexibly connects the waist belt to the annular frame.
SUSPENSION TRAINER
A suspension trainer including a handle system comprised of a ring element and a removable strap element.
Exercise System and Method
An exercise device includes a first adjustable resistance leg, a second adjustable resistance leg, a first cuff connected to the first adjustable resistance leg, a second cuff connected to the second resistance leg, a first retention device connected to the first adjustable resistance leg, a second retention device connected to the second adjustable resistance leg, and a mediate resistive member connected to the first retention device and the second retention device.
Material for Enhancing the Effects of Exercise
A compressible material is provided for use with athletic equipment and apparel for enhancing the effects of physical exercise for a person. The material can include one or more compression members that extend from shoes, insoles for shoes, exercise gloves, wraps for exercise equipment, exercise mat or floor covering, headbands, socks, exercise garments, free weights and sports helmets. The compression members can be made of one or more of rubber, thermoplastic rubber, foam rubber, polyurethane rubber, silicone rubber, thermoplastic resin and thermoplastic elastomer. Positioning the compressible material such that it is between the user and any surface for example when exercising, requires the person to maintain balance while performing the exercise by using other muscles that would not ordinarily be used during the exercise, and provides proprioceptive feedback to the person's central nervous system.
TONING GARMENT WITH MODULAR RESISTANCE UNIT DOCKING PLATFORMS
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.
DYNAMIC PROPRIOCEPTION
A wearable device such as a garment is disclosed, having at least one resistance element at a motion segment such as a hip or knee. The garment includes at least one sensor, for sensing a parameter. Electronics are provided for processing the sensed parameter, and for providing feedback. Feedback may be in the form of proprioceptive tactile or audible feedback, or in the form of an adjustment of a performance parameter of the wearable device. In one implementation, resistance to movement of the wearer is adjusted up or down in response to changes in power output by the wearer.
PROPRIOCEPTIVE FEEDBACK ASSIST DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A device for facilitating or enhancing proprioceptive feedback during breathing and related exercises includes a user attachment component attachable to a user about the thorax. Two elongate tensile members are connected at proximal ends to the user attachment component at points essentially just below the armpits of a user. These two elongate tensile members are connectable at their distal ends to the feet of the user. Another two tensile members are connected at their proximal ends to a back portion or strap of the harness and at their distal ends to or about the user's hands.
Mouthpiece
The mouthpiece includes an enhanced mouthpiece, a data sensor, and a personal data device. The data sensor collects data regarding the bite force, the number of bites and the duration of each bite. The data sensor wirelessly transfers the collected data to a personal data device.
