Exercise device and sporting equipment with said device
Exercise device for a sporting device, including at least a fixed structure and a movable element and optionally a mass hanging from the movable element, wherein: a) the fixed structure, extending at least partially longitudinally along an axis X, is connectable by way of an end portion to a portion of a rod of the sporting device, this structure including at least one limit stop positioned at the free end or between the free end and the movable element, and b) a movable element connectable to the fixed structure and adapted to carry out at least a sliding translation movement with respect to the fixed structure along the axis X.
RESISTANCE DEVICE
A device and method may be provided including at least one handle and at least one anchor point. The device may be operable to provide a resistance to a user of the device who fixes the device using the anchor point and pulls on the handle. The device may include a casing; a center rod rotatable mounted in the casing; a cable wound around the center rod and coupled to the handle; and a mechanism mounted on the central rod. The mechanism may be responsive with a centrifugal force to movement of the cable to rotate the central rod. The mechanism may include an anchor coupled to the central rod, and at least one weight connected by a wire to a ring that is movable along the central rod against the resistance of a spring.
Exercise device
Disclosed is an exercise device including flexible suspension unit, a mass, a fastening element and optionally a separate grip, wherein: a) the flexible suspension unit, elongated and thin in shape, are connectable at the level of at least a first end to the fastening element and at the level of an opposite end to one of such components; b) the mass has a through hole through which the suspension unit passes, the through hole being provided with a first opening and a second opening; and c) the fastening element can be blocked on the body of the mass.
Golf swing training aid
This invention relates to a golf swing training aid useful for training swing speed and swing efficiency. The inventive swing training aid includes a golf club shaft that has open proximal and distal ends and a grip. The interior of the shaft is a hollow chamber and the diameter decreases gradually from the proximal end to the distal end. A cable is captured within the hollow chamber and extends from the distal end of the shaft, terminating in an integrally formed attachment loop. A weighted ball is removably linked to the attachment loop by a connector.
PORTABLE ARM MOVEMENT EXERCISE DEVICE UTILIZING CENTRIPETAL AND REACTIVE CENTRIFUGAL FORCE PRINCIPLES
A device to strengthen a person's arm muscles through the utilization of a portable device including a handle portion and a weight component with the two components separated by a flexible rod is provided. Such a device allows for the user to grip the handle portion and act as if they are throwing such a handle portion while the weight end moves along an arc defined through the length of the flexible rod. The resultant action is the generation of centripetal force along the defined arc with the reactive centrifugal force providing resistance to the user's arm muscles in a manner that is unique and heretofore unattainable through the utilization of a portable exercise device. The flexible rod component provides at least 1 foot (100 cm) of spacing between the handle portion and the weight portion.
Neckbalance
A device and method for influencing the movement and muscular function in the neck, includes a helmet, the helmet has a rim, said rim has notches along the edge, on top of the helmet there is attached a vertical rod, on top of this vertical rod there is attached at least two laser sights pointing forward, at least one rod is attached at one end to the vertical rod, and the at least one rod can rotate around the vertical rod.
Agility enhancement apparatus
An agility enhancement apparatus and method of use for an individual to engage in manual agility enhancement activity, the agility enhancement apparatus includes a beam having a proximal end portion and an opposing distal end portion with a longitudinal axis spanning therebetween. Further included in the agility enhancement apparatus is a weight affixed to the distal end portion, wherein the weight makes the distal end portion weigh more than the proximal end portion. Also included in the agility enhancement apparatus is a flexible tether extension having a first end portion and an opposing second end portion with a longwise axis spanning therebetween. The flexible tether extension first end portion is affixed to the proximal end portion wherein the flexible tether second end portion is a free cantilever end, wherein operationally the individual grasps the tether second end portion and swings the beam in a free movement pattern.
DYNAMIC NECK MUSCLE EXERCISER
The present invention may be embodied as a system or method for dynamically exercising a user's neck muscles. The system includes a headset, an arm attached thereto, a weight, and at least one motor to move the weight, for example, about the arm. The weight may be mounted eccentrically on a radial track that is rotatable by one motor and moved linearly by another motor. The direction of the arm, the distance between an apex of the headset and the weight, the eccentricity of the weight on the axis, and the speed of rotation of the motor are all parameters that can be adjusted by the caregiver or user, either manually or via controlling software.
Exercise ring for improving strength and flexibility of a body part
An apparatus and method may exercise muscles of a body part, especially the neck, waist, torso, legs, and glutes from any angle with variable resistance while taking up minimal floor space. The apparatus may improve the ability of athletes, including football players and wrestlers, to better prepare for contact from any angle while engaged in their sport. The apparatus may include a ring having a guide track therein. Another inner ring may also be provided in different sizes and shapes to accommodate a variety of users. A car may be connected to a source of resistance ride freely along the guide track. The source of resistance may be other gym equipment including a bungee cord, a cable cross over machine, springs, and the like. As the user freely exercises by moving the body part, the car may adapt to the user's position to facilitate a full range of motion.
Selectively rotating weight device and related systems
A bi-bell exercise device for low-impact exercises. The bi-bell exercise device can be used in place of a kettle bell, and has two handles and a selectively rotatable weight. The bi-bell exercise device can be used in a fixed configuration, where the weight does not move relative to the handles, or a rotating configuration, where the weight is free to rotate relative to a central post.
