The control unit is adapted to supply the fuel and/or the primary air from the fuel and/or air feed (7, 8) into the combustion chamber (2) with an exit velocity higher than 150 m/s.
BURNER AND METHOD FOR HEATING USING BURNER
The object of the present invention is to provide a burner which is capable of decreasing the amount of NOx emission and heating the object to be heated uniformly with excellent heat transfer efficiency when heating the object to be heated while oscillating the flame by self-induced oscillation, and a method for heating using a burner, and the present invention provides a burner including a center fluid ejection outlet 2 having a sectional fan shape in which an interval between a pair of side walls 63a and 63b gradually expands toward a downstream side, a pair of openings 62a and 62b provided on side walls 61 of a fluid ejection flow path 6 on an upstream side of the central fluid ejection port 2 and communicated by a communication pipe 7, a first peripheral fluid ejection outlet arranged around the center fluid ejection outlet, a second peripheral fluid ejection outlet is arranged at a position at which a distance between a center thereof and a center of the center fluid ejection outlet is larger than a distance between a center of the first peripheral fluid ejection outlet and the center of the center fluid ejection outlet, and in a direction orthogonal to an expanding direction of the center fluid ejection outlet, and a third peripheral fluid ejection outlet is arranged at a position at which a distance between a center thereof and the center of the center fluid ejection outlet is larger than the distance between the center of the second peripheral fluid ejection outlet and the center of the center fluid ejection outlet, and in the direction orthogonal to the expanding direction of the center fluid ejection outlet.
FURNACE FOR IMPLEMENTING AN ENDOTHERMIC PROCESS
A furnace for implementing an endothermic process, including a combustion chamber delimited by a wall, at least one tubular reactor positioned in the combustion chamber, at least one burner arranged in the combustion chamber configured to supply the tubular reactor with the heat required for the endothermic process, with the burner including at least one nozzle for discharging a flame, the nozzle being oriented along an axis of the nozzle. Wherein the chamber has, over at least part of an inner surface of the wall, a convex inner profile curved in a direction of the axis of the nozzle, the profile being adjacent to the burner and facing the axis.
FURNACE
A furnace, and a method of firing it, wherein part of the fuel supplied to the furnace is produced from waste plastics by a depolymerisation process, waste heat from the furnace being used to promote the depolymerisation process. The furnace is equipped with regenerators for waste heat recovery and is fired alternately in first and second opposed directions, with the direction of firing periodically reversing between the first direction and the second direction. The supply of fuel to the furnace is temporarily interrupted while the direction of firing is reversing, means being provided to accommodate the fuel produced during the temporary interruption. The furnace may be used for producing glass.
INFRARED RADIATOR AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SAME
An infrared radiator for the heat treatment of a material web has an incandescent body with a flow-receiving surface that is subjected to a flow of a gas-air mixture supplied to the infrared radiator and heated by combustion of the gas-air mixture. The incandescent body is manufactured as a sheet material formed of a multiplicity of threads and connecting elements that at least indirectly connect the threads to one another. The connecting elements at least partially engage around the threads and thus connect them at least indirectly to one another. The connecting elements are configured in such a way that they may be detached from the connection with the threads, preferably by hand, while breaking up the sheet material.
AIR HEATER FOR A DRYING TOWER AND DRYING TOWER FOR DRYING A PRODUCT TO BE DRIED
An air heater is used for a drying tower, wherein the air heater includes a combustion chamber, a burner, an air heating chamber, a process air access, a process air exit and/or a flue gas exit. During operation of the air heater, a process air is supplied to the air heating chamber by way of the process air access, a fuel is burned by means of the burner, a heat thus generated in the combustion chamber is transferred to the process air in the air heating chamber and the heated process air is discharged out of the air heater by way of the process air exit, and the air heater comprises an expendable combustion chamber, wherein the expendable combustion chamber is disposed within the combustion chamber. Further, a drying tower is used for drying a product to be dried with an air heater.
