Solid fuel nozzle tips
A solid fuel nozzle tip for issuing a flow of mixed solid fuel and air to a boiler includes a tip body having an inlet and an outlet defining a longitudinal axis therebetween. The tip body includes a slot on an inlet side of the tip body extending in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis. The slot includes an opening facing the inlet side of the tip body and a recess formed at an angle with respect to the longitudinal axis to at least partially retain a pivot pin. A solid fuel nozzle assembly for issuing a flow of mixed solid fuel and air to a boiler includes a solid fuel nozzle tip with a tip body, as described above, and a locking plate operatively connected to the tip body to assist in retaining a pivot pin within the slot of the tip body.

A combustion burner includes a plurality of splitters (5), (6), (7) configured to divide a fuel gas flow by a widened portion where a width of the widened portion increases as the widened portion extends in the direction of the fuel gas flow. The splitters include: slitted splitters (5), (6) configured to slits (SL) at a downstream end in the fuel gas flow; and non-slitted splitters (7) configured to adjacently to the slitted splitters (5), (6), each of the non-slitted splitters (7) configured to the widened portion at a downstream end in the fuel gas flow, and configured to a fixed width in a direction of the longitudinal axis.
SOLID FUEL BURNER
A solid fuel burner is provided with a nozzle that is provided around the central axis of the burner, that includes a straight tube section having an opening opposed to a furnace, and a curved tube section continuous with the straight tube section, and that sprays out, from the opening to the furnace, a fluid mixture which is of a solid fuel and carrier gas of the solid fuel and which is flowing in the curved tube section; a first swirler that gives the fluid mixture a swirl at the burner central axis side of the straight tube section; and a second swirler that gives, at the burner central axis side downstream of the first swirler, the thud mixture a swirl opposite to that given by the first swirler.

A burner outlet set for a downshot firing burner is described comprising a first outlet array having at least one primary outlet, and at least one vent air outlet disposed either side of the primary outlet in an array direction of the first outlet array; second and third outlet arrays each comprising an array of secondary air outlets, respectively disposed either side of the a first outlet array. A burner system with a plurality of such burner outlet sets, a burner arch configured for downshot firing and having one or more such burner sets, and a combustion furnace with one or more such arches are also described.

In this combustion burner and boiler, interference of ignition in a flame stabilizer is suppressed and flame stabilizing performance is improved by providing: a fuel nozzle which ejects a fuel gas that is a mixture of pulverized coal and air; a combustion air nozzle which ejects a fuel gas combustion air from outside of the fuel nozzle; a secondary air nozzle which ejects secondary air from the outside of the combustion air nozzle; and a flame stabilizer which comprises a first flame stabilizer main body which is arranged at the leading end of the fuel nozzle and separated by a prescribed space from the inner wall surface of the fuel nozzle and which forms a ring shape having as the center an axial line along the ejection direction of the fuel gas.

A combustion burner 1 includes a fuel nozzle 2 that injects fuel gas prepared by mixing solid fuel and primary air, secondary air nozzles 3, 4 that inject secondary air from the outer periphery of the fuel nozzle 2, and a flame holder 5 that is arranged in an opening of the fuel nozzle 2. In the combustion burner 1, the flame holder 5 has a splitting shape that widens in the flow direction of the fuel gas. When seen in cross section along a direction in which the flame holder 5 widens, the cross section passing through the central axis of the fuel nozzle 2, a maximum distance h from the central axis of the fuel nozzle 2 to the widened end of the flame holder 5 and an inside diameter r of the opening 21 of the fuel nozzle 2 satisfy h/(r/2)<0.6.

Provided is a combustion burner including: a fuel nozzle (51) that is able to blow a fuel gas obtained by mixing pulverized coal with primary air; a secondary air nozzle (52) that is able to blow secondary air from the outside of the fuel nozzle (51); a flame stabilizer (54) that is provided at a front end portion of the fuel nozzle (51) so as to be near the axis center; and a rectification member (55) that is provided between the inner wall surface of the fuel nozzle (51) and the flame stabilizer (54), wherein an appropriate flow of a fuel gas obtained by mixing solid fuel with air may be realized.
