Combustion burner, solid-fuel-combustion burner, solid-fuel-combustion boiler, boiler, and method for operating boiler
Provided is a combustion burner including: a fuel nozzle (51) that is able to blow a fuel gas obtained by mixing pulverized coal with primary air; a secondary air nozzle (52) that is able to blow secondary air from the outside of the fuel nozzle (51); a flame stabilizer (54) that is provided at a front end portion of the fuel nozzle (51) so as to be near the axis center; and a rectification member (55) that is provided between the inner wall surface of the fuel nozzle (51) and the flame stabilizer (54), wherein an appropriate flow of a fuel gas obtained by mixing solid fuel with air may be realized.
Burner For The Combustion Of Particulate Fuel
This invention relates to a burner (1) for burning a suspension of solid fuel in oxygen containing gas. A portion of the suspension is passed through a first conduit (10) which contains a bluff body (12) and helical vanes to impart turbulence and swirl to the suspension. A further portion of the suspension is passed through a second conduit (40) which is coaxial with the first conduit. Means for varying the relative sizes of each portion are provided. The arrangement allows improved fuel/air mixing, flame shape, heat transfer and control of NOx emissions.
Nozzle for power station burner and method for the use thereof
A burner nozzle for delivering fuel to a burner flame in a furnace includes an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder that are both hollow. The inner cylinder is at least partly disposed within the outer cylinder and axially aligned with it, and is movable in an axial direction relative to the outer cylinder. One end of the inner cylinder has at least one outward projection extending in a radial direction from the outer surface of the cylinder, this projection serving to decrease the free cross-sectional area between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder at that end of the inner cylinder.
Solid-fuel burner
A solid-fuel burner includes: a venturi having a constricting portion where the transverse cross section of a fuel passage is reduced in a fuel nozzle for supplying a solid fuel; and a fuel concentrator for diverting the flow in the nozzle outward in the wake side of the venturi, and the nozzle is formed so that (a) the aperture in the vicinity of an opening portion of a boiler furnace wall surface has a flat shape, (b) cross-sectional shape thereof orthogonal to a nozzle center axis C on the outer peripheral wall of the nozzle is circular in a transverse cross section up to the constricting portion of the venturi, (c) a portion that has a gradually increasing degree of flatness is provided between the constricting portion and the opening portion, and (d) the flat shape in the opening portion is where the degree of flatness reaches a maximum.
Fuel head assembly with replaceable wear components
A fuel head assembly (120) for a pulverized coal nozzle includes removeable back cover (123) that may be removed substantially horizontally to allow access to liners (141,143,145) inside of the fuel head assembly (120) for servicing. This may be used in places where there access from above the fuel head assembly (120) is restricted. The liners (141,143,145) are constructed of a wear-resistant material and include curved vanes (131,133) for more evenly distributing pulverized solid fuel particles, and for reducing erosion of the fuel head assembly (120).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING COMBUSTION IN A BOILER
A combustion system with a combustion area in a boiler including a fuel pipe for delivering fuel is disclosed. A duct having a bend extended there through is in fluid communication with the fuel pipe and the combustion area of the boiler. The duct has an outer perimeter and an inner perimeter. The duct includes a first partition plate to form a first parallel flow of the fuel between the outer perimeter and the first partition plate, upstream of the bend.
COAL ROPE DISTRIBUTOR WITH REPLACEABLE WEAR COMPONENTS
A head assembly for a pulverized coal nozzle includes removeable wear-resistant inserts having vanes. The vanes may be flat or curved to direct a stream of air and pulverized solid fuel particles from the inlet port toward the outlet port. The curved vanes curve in two dimensions to evenly distribute the stream of air and pulverized solid fuel away from the outer surfaces reducing wear and corrosion. The pipe elbow has a removable cover that allows for easy access. The vanes are attached to a wear-resistant replaceable liner thus allowing them to be easily removed and replaced. The wear-resistant liner may be made from several parts for ease of removal and replacement.
POWDER FUEL BURNER
A powder fuel burner in a combustion chamber of a boiler includes: a cylindrical air-fuel mixture conveying tube, through which an air-fuel mixture is conveyed and which injects, from a distal end, the air-fuel mixture of powder fuel and conveying air into the combustion chamber; a swirl vane mounted at the distal end of the tube; a rod-shaped center flow blocker mounted on a center axis of the tube upstream of the swirl vane in a conveying direction of the air-fuel mixture, the center flow blocker including a cylindrical surface concentric with the tube and extending in a direction of the center axis; and a cylindrical peripheral flow blocker mounted along an inner wall surface of the tube between the center flow blocker and the swirl vane, the peripheral flow blocker including a cylindrical inner peripheral surface concentric with the tube and extending in the direction of the center axis.
