10352556 · 2019-07-16 · ·

A method for reducing nitrogen oxide NOx emissions during combustion of a gaseous fuel in a burner intended for a naked-flame or controlled-atmosphere reheating furnace, for reheating steel products or for continuous coating and/or annealing of metal strips, wherein a first dilution is carried out by mixing combustion air with combustion products upstream from or in the body of the burner, and a second dilution is carried out directly at the level at which the gaseous fuel reacts with the combustion air, mixing the fuel with a recirculated portion of the flame or products of partial combustion, the double dilution enabling the physical and chemical properties of the gas to be modified in order for the burner to operate with low oxygen rates and obtain a flame that produces a very low level of NOx production regardless of the temperature of the enclosure in which the combustion takes place.

DARK RADIATOR

A dark radiator includes a burner, a fan and a radiant tube, wherein the burner is connected to a fuel gas supply, wherein the fan is designed to supply the burner with combustion air, wherein the burner is designed to output a flame into the radiant tube, wherein the fuel gas supply is connected to a hydrogen source as a fuel gas source and has a gas nozzle, and wherein an ignition device is arranged spaced apart from the gas nozzle, without the existence of a flame holder.

RADIANT INFRARED GAS BURNER

Methods and devices for gas mixture combustion on a surface of a permeable matrix are provided which produce or result in surface stabilized combustion (SSC) with increasing amounts of radiation energy emitted by the matrix surface and decreasing concentrations of pollutant components in the combustion products. The gas mixture is fed to a burner that includes a permeable matrix material having a first thermal conductivity and configured to preheat the combustible gas mixture as it travels through the matrix. The burner includes a plurality of thermal elements having a thermal conductivity higher than and disposed in thermal transfer communication with the matrix base material. The permeable matrix base material forms a combustion surface with at least a portion of the thermal elements exposed above the combustion surface. The gas mixture is combusted at or near exit pores and channels formed at the permeable matrix material combustion surface.

BRIGHT RADIATOR

A bright radiator includes a burner, a fan and a radiant panel functioning as a radiating surface and having flame through-channels, wherein the burner is connected to a fuel gas supply, wherein the fan is designed to supply the burner with combustion air, wherein the burner is designed to bring about extensive glowing of the radiant panel, and wherein the fuel gas supply is connected to a hydrogen source as a fuel gas source.

IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO A BURNER MODULE AND AN INTEGRATED GAS BURNER

A burner module that can be used in combusting an air/fluid fuel flow is described. The burner module may be incorporated in an appliance. The burner module comprises a burner face comprising catalytic material for combusting the air/fluid fuel flow and a perforated screen having a plurality of micro-perforations where the perforated screen is positioned upline to the burner face to increase combustion; an integrated gas burner for connection to a pressurised fluid fuel flow where the integrated gas burner comprises a burner module and a gas train. The gas train comprises (a) an ejector for entraining air with the fluid fuel flow; and (b) a diffusor for converting the air/fluid fuel flow kinetic energy into pressure and for performing flow expansion.

All around radiation heating apparatus

The present invention provides a safer all-around radiation heating assembly than similar traditional heaters. As typical with traditional heaters, a shroud is used to surroundably cover a portable liquid propane tank. To replace the portable liquid propane tank, the shroud must be continuously raised to a predetermined height while a service person accesses the propane tank. There is a danger that if and when the shroud drops, a spark could be created resulting in igniting highly flammable escaped propane gas. The present invention overcomes dangers associated with the traditional heaters by eliminating the spark creation danger and by introducing a ventilation system to allow any leaked propane gas to escape away from the heater.

INFRARED AGRICULTURAL HEATER

An infrared heater for use in an agricultural setting, particular for use in poultry houses, is provided that includes a burner assembly supported by an opposing pair of generally T-shaped end plates. The heater further includes a pair of emitter assemblies having a parabolic configuration that are each supported by an elongated emitter support. The emitter assemblies surround an inner core member assembly that in part define burn chambers. The heater includes a pair of end deflector members that together with the parabolic inner surfaces of the emitter assemblies direct infrared heat outwardly and downwardly in a wide and generally quadrilaterally shaped heat footprint.
