LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION

A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a users limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.

A selectively weighted fitness slider includes a base, an interior space within the base, an inner wall in the interior space that extends from the base, and a top part that is releasably attached to the base. A locking band encircles the base and top part to releasably secure the base and top part together. The inner wall releasably secures a weight within the interior space. The weight can be secured by the inner wall, which is configured to secure the weight via an inside surface of the inner wall or an outside surface of the inner wall. The fitness slider may have a first weight inside the inner wall, a second weight outside of the inner wall, and a third weight surrounding the second weight. The fitness slider allows a person to add different weight combinations to adjust the resistance of the fitness slider and meet his/hers individual needs.

Inertial device and method of implementing an inertial device

An exercise device having a sled or wheelbarrow configuration comprises a frame that is pushed across a support surface by a user. The frame carries a wheel that movably supports the frame in the wheelbarrow configuration and at least one skid that movably supports the frame in the skid configuration. A pair of handles is selectively repositionable on the frame from a vertical orientation used in the sled configuration and a horizontal orientation used in the wheelbarrow configuration to quickly and easily convert the device between its different configurations. The frame has a carriage that supports a plurality of exercise weight members with the carriage being movable in a fore-and-aft direction on the frame for changing the effort required from the user to push the frame.

Stowable wheeled weight training sled

A weight training sled and wall hanging bracket set for supporting the weight training sled in an elevated vertical stowage position. The push handles on the sled are pivotable as a unit about a laterally extending pivot axis as between an upward use position and a lowered stowage position extending towards the second longitudinal end of the chassis. The wall hanging bracket set includes an upper bracket for attachment to a vertical surface and supportively contact a second longitudinal end of the sled at two laterally spaced contact points, and a lower bracket for attachment to the vertical surface and supportively contact a first longitudinal end of the sled at a single contact point.
