Method and system for vented rollout switch

A furnace includes a gas burner exposed to a heat-exchange tube. An inducer is fluidly coupled to the heat-exchange tube and configured to induce draft air through the heat-exchange tube. A regulator is fluidly coupled to the gas burner. A rollout shield is disposed adjacent to the gas burner. A rollout switch is disposed in the rollout shield. The rollout switch is electrically coupled to the regulator. At least one vent is formed through the rollout shield adjacent to the rollout switch. The vent provides a path for a rollout flame to the rollout switch. The at least one vent is disposed on at least two sides of the rollout switch.

BURNER ARRANGEMENT HAVING A PERIPHERAL STAGING CONCEPT

A burner arrangement has a plurality of mixing channels which extend parallel to the main axis of the burner arrangement and are arranged in at least two concentric circles, in which mixing channels fuel and discharge air from the compressor are mixed during the operation of the burner arrangement. The mixing channels are grouped together into fuel stages so as to produce an irregular staging in the peripheral direction of the burner arrangement.

A gas burner assembly for a cooktop appliance is provided. The gas burner has a gas stability chamber for providing a re-ignition source to primary burner ports positioned around the burner without the noises associated with spark controlled cycled burners. The stability chamber may entrain air from above the cooktop appliance for increased stability.

A premix burner made up of an air inlet tube of length L and a single specific gas injection, the gas injection includes an upstream gas injector, a mixer, a downstream gas injection situated at a distance L3 from an upstream end of the air inlet tube and a stabilizing element, where the gas injection constitutes a one-piece mechanical assembly that ensures a self-stable elementary flame.

Biomass-mixed, pulverized coal-fired burner and fuel combustion method

A biomass-mixed, pulverized coal-fired burner is provided. The biomass-mixed, pulverized coal-fired burner is capable of burning biomass fuel as auxiliary fuel in large quantities and burning only pulverized coal when the biomass fuel is not sufficiently available. The biomass-mixed, pulverized coal-fired burner includes: a biomass fuel jet nozzle that extends axially along the biomass-mixed, pulverized coal-fired burner; a pulverized coal fuel jet nozzle that surrounds the biomass fuel jet nozzle; a secondary air nozzle that surrounds the pulverized coal fuel jet nozzle; and a tertiary air nozzle that surrounds the secondary air nozzle. A biomass fuel stream is jetted into an inside of a pulverized coal fuel flame formed in a furnace, the flame offering favorable ignition and flame holding performance.

Burner, combustion apparatus, method for combustion, method for controlling combustion, recording medium, and water heater

High intensity combustion and low intensity combustion are carried out together, to stabilize flames and to hold down the emission of carbon monoxide. An air-fuel mixture outlet member (back plate) that includes a single or a plurality of outlet(s) (air-fuel mixture outlet(s)) out of which an air-fuel mixture (GA) flows is included, and a metal fiber knitting body (metal knit) that covers the air-fuel mixture outlet member is included. Therefore, the air-fuel mixture, which is made to flow out of the outlet(s), passes through the metal fiber knitting body (metal knit) and is combusted, a flame of low intensity is generated together with a flame of high intensity by combustion of the air-fuel mixture, and the flame of low intensity holds the flame of high intensity.

A flame producing assembly is disclosed which comprises a fuel container and a fuel nozzle arrangement. The fuel nozzle arrangement is configured to produce a flame and comprises a fuel supply channel and a fuel nozzle having a fuel nozzle opening. The fuel supply channel extends from the fuel container to the fuel nozzle opening of the fuel nozzle. The fuel nozzle opening is oriented along an axis A in a flame direction f. The wind resistant flame producing assembly further comprises a nozzle arrangement, a compressed fluid supply for storing compressed fluid, and a compressed fluid valve. The nozzle arrangement has a nozzle outlet which at least partially encircles the fuel nozzle arrangement and is suppliable with compressed fluid from the compressed fluid supply via activation of the compressed fluid valve.

A gas premix burner and a gas water heater. The gas premix burner has a combustion direction, the gas premix burner can be matched and connected with a premix chamber that is disposed upstream the combustion direction of the gas premix burner, gas and air can be burned by the gas premix burner after mixed in the premix chamber; the gas premix burner comprising: a burner substrate, a main combustion hole provided on the burner substrate; an auxiliary combustion hole disposed downstream the main combustion hole along the combustion direction on the burner substrate; an auxiliary flame of the auxiliary combustion hole intersects a main flame of the main combustion hole. The present application provides the main combustion hole upstream the auxiliary combustion hole along the combustion direction, since the main flame is usually larger in scale than the auxiliary flame, by providing the main flame upstream the auxiliary flame, it will be easier for the auxiliary flame and the main flame to intersect each other, and then the effect of stabilizing the flame is realized by opposed flames formed by the auxiliary flame and the main flame.
