Apparatus and method for variable mode mixing of combustion reactants
An apparatus includes first and second mixer tubes. The first mixer tube contains a first gas flow passage having an inlet communicating with the source of fuel gas and an outlet to a combustion chamber. The second mixer tube contains a second gas flow passage having an inlet communicating with the source of combustion air and an outlet to the combustion chamber. The apparatus further includes premix control means for forming fuel gas-combustion air premix in the second passage by directing fuel gas from the first passage into the second passage, and for alternatively forming fuel gas-combustion air premix in the first passage by directing combustion air from the second passage into the first passage.
REVERSE-JET SWIRL PULVERIZED COAL BURNER WITH MULTI-STAGE RECIRCULATIONS
A reverse-jet swirl pulverized coal burner with multi-stage recirculations includes a pre-combustion housing, a primary coal-air structure, a rich-lean output structure, an inner secondary air structure, and an outer secondary air structure. The pre-combustion housing has a pre-combustion chamber and a housing outlet. The primary coal-air structure is configured to separate a primary coal-air flow into a fuel-rich coal-air flow and a fuel-lean coal-air flow. The rich-lean output structure is configured to output the fuel-lean coal-air flow and block the fuel-rich coal-air flow to make the fuel-rich coal-air flow reversely flow to the pre-combustion chamber. The inner secondary air structure is configured to introduce an inner secondary air into the pre-combustion chamber, thereby forming a first-stage recirculation zone in the pre-combustion chamber and forming a second-stage recirculation zone. The outer secondary air structure is configured to form a third-stage recirculation zone at the housing outlet.
Combustor nozzle, combustor, and gas turbine including the same
A nozzle for a combustor burning a hydrogen-containing fuel is provided. The nozzle includes a first tube through which the fuel flows and having a fuel injection hole on a front side to inject the fuel therethrough, a second tube surrounding the first tube and having a premixing injection hole through which the fuel and air are mixed and discharged, and a third tube surrounding the second tube and through which the fuel flows, wherein the second tube includes a plurality of fine injection holes to inject the fuel from the third tube to form fine flames, and the fine injection holes are spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the second tube.
Burner
A burner has a housing on which a combustion tube is arranged, wherein the combustion tube has an opening at the end averted from the housing, wherein a mixing element is provided in the combustion tube, and the space between the mixing element and the opening forms a combustion chamber, wherein the housing has at least two mutually separate channels which open out in the mixing element, wherein gases flow through the channels and the mixing element, and mixing of the gases takes place for the first time in a combustion chamber, wherein the mixing element is produced in an additive manufacturing process and has at least two separate intermediate channels which branch in the direction of the combustion chamber in a flow direction.
PREMIXING APPARATUS, HEAT SOURCE APPARATUS, AND WATER HEATER
A premixing apparatus includes a mixing unit, an air supply adjusting unit, and a gas switching unit. The mixing unit draws a fuel gas in the mixing unit by supplied air to mix the fuel gas and the supplied air with each other. The air supply adjusting unit applies a load on the supplied air flowing toward the mixing unit and switches the load. The gas switching unit switches a gas amount of the fuel gas to be supplied to the mixing unit.
Burner tube and venturi for gas grill
The present inventions provide, among other things, tapered burner tubes having raised gas ports and a smooth interior surface free from obstructions. Venturi members creating a smooth flow of the gas/air mixture along the top of the burner tube are also provided.
MULTI-FUEL ISOLATED IMPULSE INITIATOR
A multi-fueled impulse initiator that includes a fuel source equipped with a control valve, an air source equipped with a control valve, a removable air flow insert having opposing inlet and outlet faces, an air expansion chamber fluidly connected to both the air source and the inlet face of the removable air flow insert, and an igniter assembly having a sparking tip. The removable air flow insert includes channels traversing from the inlet face to the outlet face of the air flow insert.
Premixing device and combustion device
The premixing device includes a first and a second venturi having a pressure reducing portion for air, and a gas supply passage for supplying fuel gas to the venturis, and generates air-fuel mixture by mixing fuel gas with air flowing in the venturi by using a fan and supplies the air-fuel mixture to a burner. A first and a second nozzles for reducing pressure of fuel gas are disposed in the gas supply passage, and the first and the second nozzles are formed in the same nozzle shape as the pressure reducing portion of the first and the second venturis.
Burner for a portable stove and portable stove
The present invention relates to a burner (2) for a portable stove comprising a burner head (3), a mixing tube (4), a plurality of primary air ports (7) being disposed on the mixing tube (4) and an orifice (5) through which a gaseous combustible enters into the mixing tube (3) to form a gaseous mixture with ambient air. The burner head (3) is composed of an upper burner part (8) with a plurality of burner ports (11) and a burner lower part (9), the lower burner part being connectable to the mixing tube (4). The invention is characterized in that a dividing means (13) is disposed within the burner head (3).
