Coal nozzle assembly comprising two flow channels

A coal nozzle assembly for a steam generation apparatus comprising an elongated nozzle body having a nozzle tip at one end thereof; said nozzle tip comprising two channels, each channel having curved or buckled flow paths, the nozzle tip further comprising parting means separating the channels from each other, wherein the directions of the flow paths of the channels at their ends distal from the nozzle body enclose an angle between 0 and 90. This promotes intersecting and shearing the two partial streams outside the nozzle assembly resulting in a better combustion with reduced NOx-emissions.

A premixing apparatus includes a mixing unit, an air supply adjusting unit, and a gas switching unit. The mixing unit draws a fuel gas in the mixing unit by supplied air to mix the fuel gas and the supplied air with each other. The air supply adjusting unit applies a load on the supplied air flowing toward the mixing unit and switches the load. The gas switching unit switches a gas amount of the fuel gas to be supplied to the mixing unit.

COMBUSTION APPARATUS

A combustion apparatus having: an upstream-side air supply chamber and a downstream-side mixing passage, both being respectively interposed between a fan and a burner; and a zero governor which is interposed in a gas supply passage and which adjusts a secondary gas pressure to a pressure equivalent to an internal pressure in the air supply chamber, thereby enabling to maximize a turndown ratio to the extent possible. The combustion apparatus has: first and second, totally two, mixing passages; a first gas outlet which is in communication with a narrowed part of the first mixing passage; a second gas outlet which is in communication with a narrowed part of the second mixing passage; a first air valve which varies an opening degree of an air inlet of the first mixing passage; a second air valve which varies an opening degree of an air inlet of the second mixing passage; and a gas valve.

In a combustion apparatus provided with: a combustion box having a connection flange part for connecting a heat exchanger to an upper end of the combustion box; a partition plate disposed inside the combustion box for partitioning space inside the combustion box into a combustion chamber and an air supply chamber which lies under the combustion chamber; and a plurality of laterally arrayed burners which are elongated longitudinally, the internal volume of the combustion box is increased without increasing a height dimension or without enlarging the connection flange part, thereby restraining the occurrence of resonance sounds. A drawn part projecting laterally outward of the combustion box is provided in such a portion of each side-plate part as is above the partition plate, over a predetermined range in the vertical and longitudinal directions. An upper side of the drawn part is preferably positioned below the upper end of the burners, and is preferably parallel with the upper end of the burners.

A Venturi device with a primary flow path and a secondary flow path introduced into the primary flow path, wherein a flow of one or more flowable mediums in the primary flow path and the secondary flow path creates a vortex generating a suction at an inlet of the Venturi device. A particulate burner system can be used to combust fuel emission byproducts by injecting fuel and air into a housing having a bottom plate with a round bottom opening for burners to inject fuel into a combustion chamber and a top plate with a round top opening for exhausting fuel emissions. A thruster system can be used to propel munition for deep earth penetration by using a thruster system having a transfer cone connected to a munition body.

GAS BURNER ASSEMBLY FOR A GAS COOKING APPLIANCE
20180195718 · 2018-07-12 ·

The present invention relates to a gas burner assembly (10) for a gas cooking appliance, in particular for a gas cooking hob. The gas burner assembly (10) comprises an upper burner part (12) and a lower burner part (14), wherein the upper burner part (12) is arranged above the lower burner part (14). The upper burner part (12) includes a central portion and a number of peripheral portions, wherein the peripheral portions extend radially and horizontally from the central portion. An impingement cone (40) is formed at a bottom side of the central portion of the upper burner part (12) and a gas injector (20) is arranged below the impingement cone (40) and directed to said impingement cone (40), so that a gas jet from the gas injector (20) impinges at the impingement cone (40) and said gas jet with dragged atmospheric air is directed to the peripheral portions. A Venturi tube (44) extends between the central portion and the peripheral portions in each case, so that a mixture of gas and air is accelerated to the peripheral portions.
