Flexible gas pipe ignitor
A gas pipe ignitor for igniting a non-premixed air and fuel mixture includes a housing having an axially interior space along its length, a supply end segment, a flame end segment axially spaced from the supply end segment, and a flexible segment spaced between the supply end segment and the flame end segment. A fuel supply conduit extends axially within the housing, and the fuel supply conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. An ignition conduit extends axially within the housing, and the ignition conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. A detector conduit extends axially within the housing, and the detector conduit is operatively flexible with the flexible segment. An air supply conduit is operatively connected to the housing at the supply end segment and provides combustion air within the interior space.
PILOT STABILIZED BURNER
According to an embodiment, a burner system includes a pilot burner disposed in a furnace at a distal position along a main fuel and combustion air flow axis, and one or more main fuel nozzles disposed at a proximal position along the main fuel and combustion air flow axis. The pilot burner is configured to support a pilot flame and the one or more main fuel nozzles are configured to support a main flame in contact with the pilot flame. The pilot burner is disposed to cause the main fuel and combustion air to be ignited by the pilot flame. The pilot burner may support a diffusion pilot flame or may include a premixing apparatus to support a pre-mixed flame.
Burner with torch ignition mechanism and operation method thereof
In a burner of an embodiment, a torch part includes: a torch combustor liner that is provided in a torch part casing and burns a fuel and an oxidant; a torch fuel supply part that supplies a fuel; a torch oxidant supply part that supplies an oxidant; an ignition device that ignites a fuel-air mixture; and a combustion gas pipe that is arranged at the center of the torch part and leads a combustion gas in the torch combustor liner to one end side of the torch part. A main fuel-main oxidant supply part includes: a main fuel supply passage formed in an annular shape on an outer periphery of the torch part; and a main oxidant supply passage formed in an annular shape on an outer periphery of the main fuel supply passage.
Burner cooling structures
A burner includes a main body having an outer surface and at least partially defining an interior. The main body further includes an upstream end axially spaced from a downstream end. The outer surface includes a burner front face at the downstream end of the main body. An annular cooling air plenum is defined in the main body radially inwardly from the outer surface. A cooling air passage extends from the outer surface to the annular cooling air plenum. A plurality of cooling channels is circumferentially spaced apart from one another along the burner front face. Each cooling channel of the plurality of cooling channels extends from a respective inlet in fluid communication with the annular cooling air plenum to a respective outlet.

A hydrogen content fuel can be stably ignited using a gaseous fuel that does not contain hydrogen and dispersibility of the hydrogen content fuel is enhanced. A gas turbine combustor including a burner including: a startup fuel pipe in which a startup fuel circulates; a first main fuel pipe in which a main fuel circulates, a second main fuel pipe in which the main fuel circulates; a fuel mixer to which the startup fuel pipe and the first main fuel pipe are connected; an inner fuel nozzle to which the fuel mixer is connected; a plurality of outer fuel nozzles to which the second main fuel pipe is connected; a startup fuel control valve provided in the startup fuel pipe; a first fuel control valve provided in the first main fuel pipe; and a second fuel control valve provided in the second main fuel pipe.
Furcating pilot pre-mixer for main mini-mixer array in a gas turbine engine
A pilot pre-mixer for a gas turbine engine has a pilot body that includes an internal mixing chamber, a first end on an upstream side of the internal mixing chamber, a second end on a downstream side of the internal mixing chamber, a fuel injector at the first end and communicable with the internal mixing chamber, a plurality of first oxidizer inlet ports arranged to provide an oxidizer agent from outside of the pilot body to the internal mixing chamber, and a plurality of pilot outlet ports at the second end and communicable with the internal mixing chamber, each of the plurality of pilot outlet ports having an outlet on the second end for dispensing a pilot fluid mixture into a combustion zone of a combustor.
LOW-CONCENTRATION GAS DIFFERENTIAL COMBUSTION DEVICE
A low-concentration gas differential combustion device includes a low-concentration gas super-cooling dehydration and demisting device, a gas pretreatment device, a burner, a long-term burning open fire device, a high-energy self-heat dispersion rapid ignition device, a combustion chamber, and a waste-heat utilization device. With the low-concentration gas differential combustion device, the problems of gas escaping, forced direct emission, low heat extraction efficiency, concentration over-limit explosions, increase in equipment volume and increase in investment caused by the reversal process in the existing ventilation air oxidation technology, and the problems of narrow gas adaptation concentration range, small adaptive concentration and pressure change amplitude, poor combustion temperature adjustability, high NOx content, high shutdown rate, and low gas utilization rate in the low-concentration gas internal combustion engine power generation technology are solved.
BURNER COOLING STRUCTURES
A burner includes a main body having an outer surface and at least partially defining an interior. The main body further includes an upstream end axially spaced from a downstream end. The outer surface includes a burner front face at the downstream end of the main body. An annular cooling air plenum is defined in the main body radially inwardly from the outer surface. A cooling air passage extends from the outer surface to the annular cooling air plenum. A plurality of cooling channels is circumferentially spaced apart from one another along the burner front face. Each cooling channel of the plurality of cooling channels extends from a respective inlet in fluid communication with the annular cooling air plenum to a respective outlet.

A slinger combustor includes; a first compressed air line connected to a compressor and configured to supply compressed air; a first fuel line connected to a fuel storage and configured to supply fuel; a rotation shaft configured to rotate and inject the fuel supplied from the first fuel line; a main combustion chamber configured to receive the fuel injected from the rotation shaft and receive the compressed air from the first compressed air line; and a sub-combustion chamber configured to selectively discharge a flame generated in an inner space of the sub-combustion chamber to the main combustion chamber.
