Internal combustion burner
An internal combustion burner including a combustion chamber supplied with fuel and with oxidant and at least two combustion devices supplied with oxidant and with fuel. Combining two combustion devices of distinct configurations, which respectively generate two distinct types of flames with a system for cooling the walls of the burner by introducing air along the walls, makes it possible to obtain a burner that supplies a combustion gas temperature of up to 1700 C., while at the same time being easily cooled and occupying very little space so that it can, for example, be housed in an existing installation used in the manufacture of rock wool or glass wool.
FLAME TUBE FOR IMPROVED UNIFORMITY OF THE RADIANT TUBE TEMPERATURE
A radiant heating tube device with a fuel-heated burner and a flame tube located inside the radiant heating tube often shows an undesirable increase in temperature in the area of the closed end of the radiant tube. This temperature rise can be reduced by installing an additional tube or other flow body in the area of the end of the flame tube. This achieves a more uniform radiant tube surface temperature.
BURNER DEVICE
The present invention concerns a burner device (100) for combustion of at least one fuel with at least one oxidizer, wherein the burner device (100) comprises a central longitudinal axis (102) and a main flow direction (104) which is at least approximately parallel to the central longitudinal axis, and wherein the burner device (100) comprises the following: a burner head (108) for supplying fuel and/or oxidizer to a combustion chamber, and a flame tube (106) in which the burner head (108) is arranged, wherein the burner head (108) comprises the following: at least one injection device (120, 122) with multiple injection openings (132, 164) for injection of fuel, and at least one baffle plate (116, 118) with multiple baffle openings (146, 148) for fuel and/or oxidizer, wherein the at least one baffle plate (116, 118) is arranged downstream of the at least one injection device (120, 122) relative to the main flow direction (104); and/or wherein the at least one baffle plate (116, 118) comprises multiple differently configured baffle openings (146, 148); and/or wherein the at least one injection device (120, 122) comprises multiple differently configured injection openings (132, 164).
DEVICE AND APPARATUS FOR HEATING A FLOW OF HYDROGEN
A heating device comprises a thermally-conductive outer tube, and a combustor arranged to combust air and gaseous hydrogen input to the device and introduce resulting combustion products into a first end of the outer tube. The device includes an igniter arranged to ignite the air and gaseous hydrogen. Combustion products produced by the combustor flow from the combustor to an output of the device along a flow path such that they are in contact with the internal surface of the outer tube over at least a portion of the flow path. Apparatus for heating a flow of hydrogen comprises a conduit for conducting the flow of hydrogen from a principal input port to a principal output port, the apparatus further comprising the heating device located at least partially within the conduit between the principal input port and the principal output port.
Device for heating a medium
The present disclosure relates to a device for heating a medium, including a burner unit and a flame tube, wherein the burner unit generates flue gas, wherein the flame tube has a flue gas inlet, a longitudinal axis, a casing extending along the longitudinal axis, and an end face opposite the flue gas inlet, wherein the flue gas passes from the burner unit into the flame tube via the flue gas inlet, wherein a plurality of recesses are located in the casing, and wherein the recesses have different dimensions and/or are distributed asymmetrically on the casing. The longitudinal axis is in a central plane, wherein a first side and a second side of the casing are formed by the central plane, and wherein recesses on the first side have smaller dimensions than recesses on the second side.
BURNER DEVICE
