FITNESS SYSTEM, FITNESS ASSEMBLY ARRANGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS ELEMENTS
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar clement (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
EXERCISE DEVICE FOR USE IN MICROGRAVITY ENVIRONMENTS
A device including a first member for supporting a user; and a second member 14, attached to the first member, including a counterbalance portion. The first member and the second member are each moveable, and operable to slide with respect to each other in opposite directions, between a first position and a second position. The device can be operable such that between the first and second positions, the combined center of mass of the device 10 and its user remains substantially fixed. This serves to reduce the extent of forces and vibrations generated by use of the device on the object to which the device is located.
EXERCISE MAT FOR USE WITH TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING SYSTEMS
The Companion is an exercise mat that lies on the floor beneath the TRX Suspension Training System (TRX), and includes visual and/or tactile markings (such as numeric measurements) to indicate the proper placement of feet when exercising with the TRX. The mat facilitates correct placement of the feet in terms of proximity to the TRX anchor point to ensure safe and effective exercise technique and the proper degree of resistance as it pertains to body weight. Contours or ridges may also be provided on the mat in order to facilitate proper foot positioning.
Exercise machine
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, and a console configured to control the resistance mechanism and guide a user through a workout using the exercise machine using a projected visual indicator to assist a user in performing the workout properly.
Resistance apparatus, system, and method
A resistance exercise system having, in certain embodiments, a DC power supply system, a DC motor connected to the DC power supply system, a drive section connected to a drive element, a resistance delivery element connected to the drive element, and an extractable exercise resistance delivery section, a predetermined variable resistance section intermediate the DC power supply system and DC motor, an electrical condition sensor, and a variable resistance section control in communication with the electrical condition sensor and the predetermined variable resistance section. In some embodiments, the resistance exercise system includes a computing facility providing the ability to configure the exercise system to provide predetermined static or variable exercise resistance during exercise, and for example, during a positive or negative exercise stroke. Some embodiments allow users to create and, if desired, display varying and complex resistance exercise routines with or without use of resistance weights.
Arcuate motion apparatus and method
A training or exercise apparatus may have a base and an adjacent movable armature or frame that carries a riding member, or shuttle, or carrier. The carrier has an engagement interface with an element of sporting or exercise equipment. The sporting or exercise equipment is engaged by the user, typically by being grasped. The apparatus defines a physical or virtual schedule describing an arc for a swing in the particular activity. The apparatus may include a manual or electronic means of imposing resistance to the motion. This resistance may be adjustable, and may be programmable as a function of one or both of position and speed. The apparatus may include an array of sensors such as may be used to determine the pre-existing stroke, and such as may be monitored during training to assess progress. The apparatus may be operated passively, or it may be operated interactively in a manner in which real-time feedback causes the apparatus to adjust resistance to the motion.
ROWING MACHINE
The present invention concerns an improved rowing machine, for the execution of gymnastic exercises similar to strokes and the like, comprising actuating means movable between a rest position and a working position, and a first braking device, operatively connected to said actuating means configured to brake the motion of said actuating means during the passage from said rest position to said working position, characterized in that said rowing machine comprises a second braking device operatively connected to said actuating means, said second braking device being configured to brake the motion of said actuating means during the passage from said rest position to said working position.
Wearable Gym
A wearable gym can include garment configured to be worn over a portion of a body of a user. The wearable gym can also include at least one exercise device coupled to the garment, wherein the at least one exercise device is configured to burn calories of the user when the user engages the at least one exercise device.
Portable full body workout system
Presented is a portable full body work out system for indoor and outdoor uses. The system includes a pair of mounts configurable over an intended surface, a pair of bracket assembles releasably mountable over the mounts, a strap with extending around one or more pulleys of one of the bracket assemblies and operatively connecting to a securing device, a resistance band releasably mountable around a retainer member of one of the bracket assemblies and another coupled to the securing device. The securing device is selectively operated during initial set up to allow the user to adopt to an appropriate position to connect an external exercising accessory to the strap for performing an exercise. The user is able to select the desired resistance for the exercise, or reduce the selected resistance, or combine resistances for even greater resistance by selecting appropriate resistance bands, and/or changing the tension applied on the strap.
Fitness activity apparatus
A fitness activity apparatus has a frame having four vertical posts, the vertical posts comprising a left rear post, a right rear post, a left front post, and a right front post, the left rear post and right rear post being connected by a rear lateral bar, the left front post and right front post being connected by a front lateral bar, the left rear post and left front post being connected by a left side bar, the right rear post and right front post being connected by a right side bar, the left side bar and right side bar being at a common level to provide a support platform configured to support a circular weight plate having a selected plate diameter, and the rear lateral bar positioned at a first vertical level and front lateral bar being positioned at a different second vertical level.
