The transmission assembly is provided in the device main body, the rope winding shaft is rotatably connected to the transmission assembly, at least one continuous rope winding spiral groove is provided along the peripheral edge of the outer wall of the rope winding shaft, the rope winding spiral groove has an inner end close to the transmission assembly and an outer end remote from the transmission assembly, and the oscillating piece is provided in the device main body in such a manner that the oscillating shaft around which the oscillating piece oscillates is collinear with the rotation axis of the rope winding shaft.
Fitness Device
The disclosure relates to a cable tensioning station for providing a defined resistance force for resistance training, including a weight (9), which is arranged movably above a pull element (7, 17) and on which the resistance force is at least dependent, the pull element (7, 17) being guided via at least one coupling roller (18), which is designed to transfer a linear motion of the pull element as a rotary motion to a generator (19) to generate electrical energy, characterised in that the coupling roller (18) is embodied as a freewheel with adjustable blocking effect.
Exercise resistance methods and apparatus
An exercise apparatus includes a seat to accommodate a person in a seated position, an upper back rest to support the person's back, a foot rest to the person's feet, and a lap engaging member spanning the person's lap. A first resistance device is connected to opposite ends of the lap engaging member to resist movement of the lap engaging member away from the seat. A second resistance device is connected to a handle to resist movement of the handle from a position behind the back rest toward the back rest. A person sits on the seat and performs a combination exercise involving both: (a) a hip thrust exercise, wherein the person thrusts her hips and the lap engaging member upward and away from the seat; and (b) a lat pull down exercise, wherein the person pulls the handle from an arm's length distance behind the back support to a position more proximate the upper back support.
Exercise weight support device enhancements
An exercise weight support device includes: a spool connected to a belt to suspend the device, the spool being rotatable to enable more or less of the belt to be wound therearound to change the vertical position of the device; a ratchet wheel drivingly coupled to the spool to control rotation thereof; an outer frame having a cradle and/or pair of hooks to support a bar of a free weight; a ratchet pawl connected to the outer frame at a fixed location relative thereto; and a trigger handle coupled to the spool to move the spool relative to the ratchet pawl between a non-operating position of the trigger handle causing the ratchet pawl and teeth of the ratchet wheel to engage, and an operating position of the trigger handle causing the ratchet pawl and teeth to disengage to control rotation of the spool.
Exercise machine reversible resistance system
An exercise machine reversible resistance system for reversing the directional force of resistance against an exercise implement before, during, or after the performance of a routine of one or more exercises. The exercise machine reversible resistance system generally includes a frame, an elongated member movably positioned upon the frame, wherein the elongated member has a first run and a second run, a resistance device that applies a resistance force to the elongated member in a single direction, an exercise implement movably connected to the frame and a clutch connected to the exercise implement. The clutch is adapted to selectively engage the first run or the second run of the elongated member for selective control of the resistance direction of the exercise implement.
Parallel resistance rowing machine
A parallel resistance rowing machine is an apparatus that provides adjustable, independent resistance to a user to perform rowing exercises that isolate and emphasize various laterally opposed muscle groups. The parallel resistance rowing machine uses a first resistance assembly and a second resistance assembly mounted to an axle within a chassis. The first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly are selectably interconnected by a clutch mechanism, enabling a first handle and a second handle to be moved independently or in concert under resistance from the first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly, respectively. An elongate frame supports a slidable seat assembly, further supporting a full-body rowing action as the user exerts themselves against the first resistance assembly and the second resistance assembly.
STATIONARY EXERCISE APPARATUS FOR INDOOR CYCLING
The present disclosure relates to a stationary exercise apparatus for indoor cycle training (1), i.e. a stationary exercise bicycle, preferably provided with a magnetic resistance unit (15). One embodiment relates to a stationary exercise bike comprising a flywheel (10) defining a radial gap (25) in the periphery wherein at least the periphery of the flywheel (10) has ferromagnetic properties, and wherein a magnetic resistance unit (15) is configured to controllably insert one, two or more magnets into said radial gap.
Manually powered treadmill
A treadmill includes a frame; a rotatable element coupled to the frame; a running belt at least partially supported by the rotatable element; and, a first element and a second element, both of which are coupled to the running belt. The running belt includes a running surface, at least a portion of which is curved. Further, one of the first and second elements and the running belt freely rotate in a first direction of rotation relative to the frame. However, in a second direction of rotation, opposite the first direction of rotation, the one of the first and second elements is substantially prevented from rotation relative to the frame to substantially prevent or resist rotation of the running belt relative to the frame.
BODY TETHER APPARATUS
An exercise device consisting of a housing having a rope extending therethrough and wherein the rope is wound about a spool mounted on a driveshaft driven in a forward direction by a motor. The spool includes a one-way clutch for engaging the driveshaft in the forward direction and freely rotating on the driveshaft in the reverse direction. A distance sensor provides feedback upon the rope spooling out a certain distance. A recoil mechanism is coupled to the spool to rotate the spool in the reverse direction and rewind the rope.
Rehabilitation device providing locomotion training and method of use
In various embodiments, provided herein are systems, methods, processes, and devices for providing locomotive rehabilitation to a subject via one or more gait motions that substantially accurately mimic motions performed in healthy, natural gait cycles. The system may mimic natural gait motions via footplates and handles, and one or more linkage systems. In particular embodiments, the system may further include a motor unit and/or clutch for providing controlled forces assisting or resisting motions of a linkage system. Further, the system may include a tower for operating in a standing or seated position. In at least one embodiment, the system includes a body weight support system that provides offloading forces to a subject.
