Loading arrangement for a destruction system
09664490 · 2017-05-30 · ·

The present invention relates to a loading arrangement for a destruction system configured for destruction of ammunition, small arms and thereto related material, and provides the advantage of improved safety surrounding loading of munitions into a chamber of the destruction system. The loading arrangement comprises a transportation duct at an inclined angle. A cradle configured to receive the munitions is pivotably attached to the transportation duct and can be pivoted upwards into the transportation duct through a cradle opening. A closure plate mechanically linked to the cradle and adapted to close the cradle opening is automatically moved as the cradle pivots upwards so as to open the cradle opening. The transportation duct can be releasably connected to an input duct of the chamber of the destruction system.

A mobile platform biomass harvester has a header, a biomass processor, a storage container, a guidance system, an engine, an electric generator, and a guidance system. The header harvests biomass. The biomass processor includes a shredder, a press, a dryer, and a densifier. The densifier compacts the biomass into a multitude of compressed biomass pieces. The storage container receives compressed biomass pieces from the biomass processor. The guidance system guides the mobile platform at a speed determined by the operating capacity of the mobile platform. The engine generates shaft power. The electrical generator converts the shaft power to electricity to power the guidance system.

Briefly, the invention provides an incinerator comprising a housing suspended above the ground. The housing is without a top or bottom, but includes an elongated member supporting the housing and a grate intermediate of the housing and the elongated member. Also provided is a device for aiding combustion reactions. The device includes a vertically disposed stanchion, a housing, a first open end and a second open end. The housing is supported at the second open end by the stanchion. The device also include a grid with a cross section identical to the cross section of the housing. The diameter of the cross section of the grid is less than the diameter of the cross section of the housing and the grid in rotates around the stanchion.

System and method for thermal chemical conversion of waste

A waste-to-energy conversion apparatus comprising a primary combustion chamber capable of holding a load of waste, and the primary combustion chamber further comprises a heat source to heat the waste and generate a syn gas stream, grates, within the primary chamber, capable of supporting the load of waste during heating, a mixing chamber wherein the syn gas is mixed with additional combustion gas, a multi-chambered secondary combustion chamber for combusting the mixture of syn gas and additional combustion gas, and an energy extraction system for extracting the heat energy generated by the combustion of the mixture of syn gas and additional combustion gas.

Biochar apparatus and process

A biochar apparatus and a related biochar module may have a horizontal table-shaking mechanism and a tapered channel for causing biochar pieces generated in a firebox to fall through openings in the table to a conveyor system below. The table may be configured with replaceable grate panels. A quenching reservoir pan for holding quenching liquid receives a drainage basket at a discharge end of the conveyor system for quenching hot pieces of biochar and allowing easy retrieval of the quenched pieces.
