Pivoting Weight Arm Assembly
20200298051 · 2020-09-24 ·

A weight arm assembly for use with a weight lifting rack is provided, the weight arm assembly including a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a vertical surface in a fixed position, an arm mount configured to be coupled to the mounting bracket so as to be pivotable about a first axis, a stop member coupled to the arm mount and configured to move between an engaged position to prevent pivoting of the arm mount through interaction with the mounting bracket, and a disengaged position to allow pivoting of the arm mount, and a weight arm configured to be coupled to the arm mount, proximate a first end of the weight arm, so as to be pivotable about a second axis substantially orthogonal to the first axis.

RESISTANCE EXERCISE APPARATUS
20200276466 · 2020-09-03 ·

A resistance exercise apparatus includes a resistance ball rigidly attached to a first end of a rod, a resistance cup retaining the resistance ball to a proximity thereof and allowing the resistance ball to rotate relative to the resistance cup, the resistance cup having a surface profile substantially matching a surface profile of the resistance ball, and an anchor rigidly attached to the resistance cup for keeping the resistance cup substantially stationary during an exercise session.

DEVICES FOR EXERCISE APPARATUSES

A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface and a frame coupled to the loading interface for performing an exercise. The linear adjustment system fixes the loading interface of the exercise apparatus at any one of a plurality of functional positions in a functional range of the loading interface. The sensor measures the force exerted on the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.

Method and Apparatus for Bi-Directional Ankle Exercise
20200254297 · 2020-08-13 ·

Apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements has a main frame with a seat and upwardly extending columns at either side to support a U shaped sub-frame, mounted so that it pivots about a horizontal axis passing very nearly through the ankles of a seated user and interconnecting linkages simultaneously enforcing ankle inversion, with plantarflexion and then ankle aversion, with dorsiflexion, about perpendicularly intersecting axes, while resisting such movements, so as to provide bidirectional ankle exercises according to a progressive resistance program, thus strengthening the ankle muscle groups for enhanced balance and dynamic stability.

Triceps press exercise machine with a moving user support

An exercise machine for performing triceps press exercises, including a moving user support that supports a user in a seated position. The exercise machine includes a linkage assembly that allows the moving user support to tilt as the user performs the triceps press exercise. As the user extends his or her arms from an exercise starting position to an exercise ending position, a user support frameand thus the user's torsoreclines progressively backwards. The user's natural reaction to this reclining sensation is to bring his or her head forward, which encourages the user to plant his or her lower back firmly into a stable position against a back pad and in turn reduces a risk of injury associated with excessively arching of the lower back.

DRAG GAIN STRUCTURE FOR GRAVITY WHEEL OF FITNESS EQUIPMENTS
20200246652 · 2020-08-06 ·

A drag gain structure for the gravity wheel of fitness equipment has an eccentric driving member located on the first side of gravity wheel, which has inner and outer side plate sections and an interconnecting piece. One end of outer side plate section is fitted over and fixed to the shaft. One end of inner side plate section is connected to an eccentric position of gravity wheel by the first bias joint pin. A separate bearing pedestal is located on the second side of gravity wheel, including bearings screwed on the shaft, a pedestal shell fitted over the bearing and a radial protruding plate on the periphery of pedestal shell. The protruding end of radial protruding plate is connected to an eccentric position of gravity wheel by the second bias joint pin.
