Exercise machine with lifting arm
An exercise machine has a main frame and a user support movably mounted relative to the main frame for movement between a start position and an end position during an exercise. At least one user engagement device is movably mounted relative to the main frame for engagement and actuation by a user during an exercise, and a connecting linkage translates movement of the user engagement device to movement of the user support. A lifting arm is movably mounted relative to the main frame and associated with at least one of the user support, user engagement device, and connecting linkage so as to move during an exercise. A load associated with the lifting arm provides exercise resistance.
Toning garment with modular resistance unit docking platforms
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable electronics and resistance modules. The garment provides resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and tracks biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and incremental power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing. Alternatively, the device may be worn as a supplemental training tool during conventional training protocols.
Pivoting weight arm assembly
A weight arm assembly for use with a weight lifting rack is provided, the weight arm assembly including a mounting bracket configured to be attached to a vertical surface in a fixed position, an arm mount configured to be coupled to the mounting bracket so as to be pivotable about a first axis, a stop member coupled to the arm mount and configured to move between an engaged position to prevent pivoting of the arm mount through interaction with the mounting bracket, and a disengaged position to allow pivoting of the arm mount, and a weight arm configured to be coupled to the arm mount, proximate a first end of the weight arm, so as to be pivotable about a second axis substantially orthogonal to the first axis.
Exercise machine with lifting arm

At least one user engagement device is movably mounted relative to the main frame for engagement and actuation by a user during an exercise, and a connecting linkage translates movement of the user engagement device to movement of the user support. A lifting arm is movably mounted relative to the main frame and associated with at least one of the user support, user engagement device, and connecting linkage so as to move during an exercise. A load associated with the lifting arm provides exercise resistance.
Method and apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements
Apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements has a main-frame with a seat and upwardly extending columns at either side to support a U shaped sub-frame, mounted so that it pivots about a horizontal axis passing very nearly through the ankles of a seated user and interconnecting linkages simultaneously enforcing ankle inversion, with plantarflexion and then ankle aversion, with dorsiflexion, about perpendicularly intersecting axes, while resisting such movements, so as to provide bidirectional ankle exercises according to a progressive resistance program, thus strengthening the ankle muscle groups for enhanced balance and dynamic stability.
ELLIPTICAL MACHINE
An elliptical machine includes a base and an upright column fixed to the base; a transmission mechanism mounted on the base, the bases on both sides of which are respectively provided with the link mechanism connected with the transmission mechanism wherein each link mechanism includes a first link rod connected with the transmission mechanism, and a second link rod having a pedal and connected with the first link rod. The first link rod is telescopic and connected to the base. When the user uses the pedal of two link mechanisms to link the transmission mechanism through the link rods, the total length of the first link rod is reciprocatingly and continuously changed, so that the top end of the first link rod can make the circulatory movement along an elliptical path, and interlocks the second link rod, and the pedal synchronously can make the circulatory movement along an elliptical path.
Hip Thrust Exercise Device
A hip thrust exercise device includes a main body; a foot mount connected to the first body portion; a grip connected to the second body portion; an extension hingedly connected to the main and an abutment element; and a resistance element connected between the extension and main body. The resistance element provides a resistance force when the abutment element is moved away from the first body portion.
Flexor and extensor exercise device
An exercise device that exercises both flexor and extensor muscles. The exercise device includes a base. First and second sidewalls upwardly extend from opposing sides of the base. Each of the first and second sidewall has a plurality of teeth formed on an upper rim extending from the front end to the rear end of the base. At least a first gear is secured to a first end of an elongated rod and at least a second gear is secured to a second end of the elongated rod. A plurality of teeth of the first gear interlock with the plurality of teeth of the first sidewall and a plurality of teeth of the second gear interlock with the plurality of teeth of the second sidewall. A board rests on the elongated rod in between the first end and the second end.
Exercise Machines for Leg Strengthening
An exercise machine for leg strengthening, the exercise machine comprising a stationary frame; and a thigh support member and an ankle support member coupled to the frame and configured to support a user's thigh and ankle, respectively, during a hamstring curl exercise motion. The thigh support member and the ankle support member are each movable with respect to the stationary frame during the hamstring curl exercise motion, thus facilitating contraction and extension of both of a hamstring and glute of the user during the hamstring curl exercise motion.
ATTACHMENT APPARATUSES FOR SQUAT EXERCISES AND METHODS OF USING SAME
An exercise attachment apparatus for attachment to a lever arm pivotably connected to an exercise rack, comprising: at least one mounting prong connected to the lever arm; and, a stand comprising a pivot point, wherein the pivot point defines a pivot axis substantially transverse to a longitudinal axis of the lever arm, and wherein the stand is rotatable with respect to the lever arm about the pivot axis.
