The invention relates to shipbuilding and can be used in reconditioning in order to economize fuel and to increase speed. The technical problem is solved by the shipboard installation of air compressors, air receiver tanks, pass valves, air conduits, air separating conduits, air intakes and air injectors, which are interconnected by air ducts. An air separating conduit is mechanically secured in the bow of the ship and has air injectors secured along the centre thereof up to the stern. The injectors direct a jet of air backwards so that the jet of air thrusts the ship forwards, then the air rises along the sides of the ship, maintaining a layer of air between the ship and the water, thus reducing water resistance. The injectors in the bow direct a jet of air such that the ship is constantly sailing into an air space.

PROCESS FOR RECYCLING WASTE CONSISTING OF POLYMERIC, COMPOSITE AND INDUSTRIAL RUBBER MATERIALS
20240279552 · 2024-08-22 ·

This invention details a method and device for recycling polymeric, composite, and industrial rubber waste. It involves a bath of liquid-metal coolant, made by melting metals like lead, bismuth, zinc, aluminum, and copper. This coolant is heated to 50-150? C. above its melting point. A layer of melted salts of alkaline and alkaline-earth metals is formed on the coolant's surface, topped by a purifying layer of melted active alkaline or alkaline-earth metals. Waste is pre-loaded into perforated-wall containers with horizontal partitions and submerged in the coolant bath, then removed after processing. The device includes guide rails, an internal space with a hearth, side walls, roof, inlet and outlet sluices, and a reaction chamber. This process improves desulphurization and dichlorination of pyrolysis products, yielding a solid carbon-containing residue.

HYBRID COMBUSTION APPARATUS USING PYROLYSIS OF WATER AND COMBUSTION AIR

10081771 · 2018-09-25 · ·

An apparatus, a system, and a method for heat treating a moisture-containing or water-laden material are provided. The heat treatment can be drying for dehydration, gasification, or full carbonization. The system comprises a feeding mechanism, and a rapid compression unit (RCU) apparatus having a screw, a barrel, and one or more flow disrupters. The system can further include a reflux condenser, an aftercooler stage, a second condenser for particle filtering, and an exit mechanism. The one or more flow disrupters are located on an inner surface of the barrel and project into the passageway created by the screw and the barrel. The screw is sized to fit within the barrel such that flow disrupter does not contact the screw. The one or more flow disrupters cause the water-laden material to fold over onto its self, thereby, allowing for the occurrence of more uniform drying.

Refuse treatment method and apparatus for separating solid and liquid and separating organics and inorganics

A refuse treatment method for separating solid and liquid and separating organics and inorganics, comprising the steps of: 1) subjecting municipal domestic refuse to a bag-breaking treatment and water washing; 2) washing the municipal domestic refuse after the bag-breaking treatment with water; 3) performing a solid liquid separation treatment on the washed municipal domestic refuse; 4) performing a cracking treatment and then a dehydration treatment on sorted water-insoluble organic refuse; 5) performing dehydration on marsh gas residue after marsh gas is generated in the refuse water to produce biochar.
