A stabilizing device for a freestanding exercise device having a frame configured to at least partially support said freestanding exercise device and comprising at least one crossbar member. The stabilizing device comprises a recess configured to receive a wheel or leg of a chair, and at least one friction pad coupled to an outer region of the crossbar member. In one embodiment, the friction pad comprises a support wall and a ramp. Further, the recess may extend laterally from the support wall to the first end of the friction pad.

Smart pedal for cycle style exercise devices
A pedal system for tracking use of a cycle style exercise device. The pedal system includes a pedal with a shaft for coupling to the pedal crank of the exercise device and a housing that is rotatable about the shaft. An accelerometer positioned in the housing is configured to provide data about the movement of the pedal to a microcontroller. A wireless communication chip positioned in the housing is used to transmit the data about the movement of the pedal to a remote device via the wireless communication chip. The remote device is programmed to receive, display and track the data about the movement of the pedal.
MOBILITY ENHANCEMENT SYSTEM HAVING A FORCE MULTIPLIER
A mobility enhancement system is provided. The mobility enhancement system includes a leg wrap having a first pulley assembly coupled therewith. The first pulley assembly has two or more pulley wheels. A chair leg anchor has a second pulley assembly coupled therewith. The second pulley assembly has two or more pulley wheels. A rope has a secured end and a free end. The secured end is coupled to the chair leg anchor. The rope is threaded from the secured end through the two or more pulley wheels of the first pulley assembly and through the two or more pulley wheels of the second pulley assembly such as to create a force multiplier of the rope pulling force.

A device for moving the back and core muscles while sitting includes a rocking assembly that sits atop a base assembly, and optionally a height adjustment mechanism between the rocking assembly and the base assembly. The rocking assembly includes a rocking mechanism that sits between a base plate or platform and a seat. The rocking mechanism can be, for example, a hollow or solid hemispheric- or dome-shaped rocking mechanism, an eccentric bicylinder rocking mechanism, and/or a rocking mechanism based on an arrangement of halfpipe members. The rocking mechanisms of the exercise chair allow to the seat to rock, wobble, and/or swivel with a side-to-side rocking motion, a front-to-back rocking motion, or both a side-to-side rocking motion and a front-to-back rocking motion, and are attached to base plate and seat via a fastener that includes a solid strut that passes through the rocking mechanism and includes a plurality of Belleville washers.

Lower back exercise apparatus
A lower back exercise apparatus exercises or imparts laterally and upwardly directed movements into a user's lower back when seated thereupon. The lower back exercise apparatus includes a lower base assembly, an upper seat assembly, and a motor assembly. The lower base assembly includes an upper, laterally concave base surface. The upper seat assembly includes a lower, laterally convex seat surface and an upper seat surface. The upper seat assembly is laterally ridable upon and movable relative to the lower base assembly. The motor assembly is drives a laterally directed, cylindrical arc length trajectory of the upper seat assembly relative to the lower base assembly. The concave and convex surfacing have a common radius of curvature with a common fulcrum point spatially located adjacent an upper portion of a user's lumbar spinal region Lateral flexion is thus imparted into a user's lower back when a user is seated thereupon.
Exercise chair
An exercise chair that is operable to engage a user's core muscle groups in order to maintain a desired position thereof. The exercise chair includes a base having a plurality of legs. A seat member is rotatably secured to the base. A first mounting plate is secured to the bottom of the seat member. A second mounting plate is secured to the first mounting plate. The second mounting plate is ring-shaped and undulated in form having at least two peak section and at least two valley sections. A wheel assembly is superposed the base and includes wheels configured to engage the second mounting plate and traverse therealong. A mount having a shaft coupled thereto rotatably couples the seat member with the base. In a first position of the exercise chair, the wheels of the wheel assembly are engaged with the at least two peak sections.
BALL CHAIR
A ball chair may comprise a chair frame, a ball body and an adjusting unit. The chair frame has a connecting base and a legs base, and a supporting column formed therebetween is configured to achieve a telescopic action thereby adjusting a height of the ball chair. The connecting base is formed in a concave shape to form a housing space therein, and an annular frame is formed at an upper end of the connecting base. The ball body is configured to be coupled on the connecting base of the chair frame, and the annular frame is configured to couple with an outer periphery of the ball body thereby limiting a position thereof. As a result, the ball chair is suitable for different statures of users and enables the users to sit thereon for training or rehabilitation.
PORTABLE EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes an adjustable strap to secure the device to a free standing object, such as a piece of furniture having two sections. The strap includes hook fabric portions and a loop fabric portion to adjust to a desired length to fit within the sections of the furniture. The exercise device also includes oval rings to attach to the strap at ends thereof. Each oval ring includes a bar located in its center to engage the strap. The position of the oval rings is secured against the furniture. Attachments for exercising, such as exercise bands, are attached to the oval rings so that a user operates the exercise device as needed, then disassembles the device for storage or to use elsewhere.
