An exemplary exercise chair may include a frame, including a base, an angled section angled upward from the front of the base, and a back support extending upward from the rear of the base; a seat support rotatably connected to the angled section; and at least one resistance element connected to a rear portion of the seat support and to the back support.
Portable elliptical exercise machine, resistance band extension, and transport mechanism
An exercise apparatus having a pulley, a pair of stabilizing assemblies each configured to couple a front portion of a respective pedal element to each side of the pulley, a looped belt configured to couple the pulley to a resistance assembly, a tension stabilizer configured to maintain a tension of the looped belt on the pulley, and the resistance assembly configured to assert an adjustable resistance to the pedal elements through the looped belt. The exercise apparatus also comprises a resistance band extension for performing additional exercise using resistance bands and a transport mechanism for transporting the exercise apparatus and securing the exercise apparatus to a chair wheel or other structure during exercise.
Chair Exerciser
The Chair Exerciser is an apparatus and method to exercise one's core, back, and legs while working on tasks that are normally performed seated. These tasks include computer work, watching television, or computer gaming. The Chair Exerciser fits on a regular chair and one sits upon it. The Chair Exerciser's resistance can be adjusted to the suit the needs of the user. The multitasking of work and exercise is an attractive benefit to the Chair Exerciser. The Chair Exerciser can also be formed as an integral part of the chair as opposed to a portable unit.
EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a base member configured for engaging a surface of a mounting structure, a coupling system for coupling the base member to the structure, and at least one resistance member coupled to the base member. Each of the at least one resistance members includes a control member configured to be manipulated by a portion of a user. The mounting structure includes a first surface and an oppositely arranged second surface with the first surface facing towards the user and the second surface configured to engage the base member. The configuration of the base member relative to the mounting structure allows for at least a portion of a force applied to one of the resistance members to be transferred to the mounting structure.
Portable exercise device
An exercise device includes an adjustable strap to secure the device to a free standing object, such as a piece of furniture having two sections. The strap includes hook fabric portions and a loop fabric portion to adjust to a desired length to fit within the sections of the furniture. The exercise device also includes oval rings to attach to the strap at ends thereof. Each oval ring includes a bar located in its center to engage the strap. The position of the oval rings is secured against the furniture. Attachments for exercising, such as exercise bands, are attached to the oval rings so that a user operates the exercise device as needed, then disassembles the device for storage or to use elsewhere.
ORTHOPEDIC SHOULDER BRACE
An orthopedic brace for supporting a shoulder and an arm of a patient can comprise a sleeve, a pad, a pillow, and a system of adjustable straps for positioning and securing the sleeve in a desired position for treatment. The pad can comprise a plurality of pockets for accepting hot or cold compresses therein for providing thermal therapy, and can be removable from the brace to be used in isolation along other parts of the body. The adjustable straps can be replaced with tensile straps, and the sleeve can be positioned along different points of the patient's body to allow the patient to conduct various patient driven exercises, including patient driven range of motion or strengthening exercises.
ARM CHAIR EXERCISE APPARATUS
A chair arm exercise apparatus includes three distinct back positions with hand resistance members such as springs supported from a pair of supports spaced from the upper end of the back. The arm chair includes a base configured to rest on a horizontal floor surface, a seat, a pair of spaced apart trapezoidal shaped upright frame sides, a front upright end wall beneath and supporting a front end of the seat, a seat back pivotally supported from the frame sides behind the seat, and a seat cross member beneath the rear edge of the seat fastened to the frame sides. In a first position the back is at about 90 degrees to the seat. In a second position the back is about 80 degrees to the seat. In the third position the back is reclined.
DEVICE FOR ASSISTING WITH EXTENSION AND/OR FLEXION
Embodiments of the invention are directed to devices and methods for providing extension and flexion assistance. A device manipulates a foot of a user, thereby providing extension or flexion assistance to an ankle of the user, and includes a footplate positioned at a pre-determined distance from the user and adapted to pivot about an axis defined by the ankle as the foot extends or flexes about the ankle; and a force application system comprising a force applicator connected to the footplate, and a force application mechanism, wherein the force application mechanism is configured to apply a force to the force applicator, thereby providing the extension or flexion assistance to the foot about the ankle.
Exercise case with an adjustable resistance band system
An exercise system includes a portable case that has a base with a selectively openable top and at least one peripheral edge. The top when engaged with the base defines an internal storage volume therein. At least one resistance band is adapted for storing in the internal storage volume of the case and has a plurality of apertures therethrough. At least one anchor is fixed with the at least one peripheral edge of the case and is adapted for fixing with the at least one resistance band through one of the apertures thereof. Preferably each anchor is selectively detachable from an anchor aperture traversing the case. As such, with the at least one resistance band fixed with the case, and with the case pressed against the item within the environment by the person, the person may perform exercises by stretching the at least one resistance band.
Easy chair exerciser
An exercise device is disclosed herein. The exercise device includes a platform, a track unit, a first leg holder, a second leg holder and a bracket. Further the exercise device includes a first resistance band and a second resistance band.
