DEVICES AND METHODS FOR RESTORING SPINAL MOVEMENT AND FUNCTION
20200230462 · 2020-07-23 ·

A spinal unloading system generally includes a harness configured to wrap around a human patient's lumbar or cervical region and including multiple attachment points for connecting elastomeric bands. Elastomeric bands exert pulling forces in a variety of directions, depending on specific placement, and serve to unload the spine and/or provide resistance while performing the method.

EXERCISE APPARATUS

Embodiments of the present invention provide a substantially rigid exercise apparatus providing resistance. An exercise apparatus according to embodiments of the present invention provides a body having a first end and a second end. The body may be formed from a substantially rigid inner body and an elastomeric outer body supported by the inner body. The body may provide one or more sets of grips along its length. The body may provide one or more textured surfaces along its length. The body may retain one or more weights received through the first end and the second of the body, and the first end and the second end of the body may each be capped by a first cap and a second cap. A connecting element may be fastened to either the first cap or the second cap to join the first end or the second end to a stationary anchor.

Exercise Apparatus

A body exercise apparatus comprising: a torso band; at least one first protuberance member disposed on the torso band; an appendage band; at least one second protuberance member disposed on the appendage band; at least one first sensor associated with the torso band; at least one second sensor associated with the appendage band; at least one resistance cable having one end removably attached between the at least one first protuberance member and the at least one second protuberance member.

Adjustable Resistance Exercise Machine

An adjustable resistance exercise machine for providing variable resistance forces on a pull cable extending from the machine. The adjustable resistance exercise machine generally includes a plurality of power springs that may be selectively engaged using an adjustment mechanism. By engaging springs with different forces, the resistance may be adjusted incrementally as preferred for performing different exercises. The adjustable resistance exercise machine may be connected to various structures, either below or above an exerciser, to allow the exerciser to choose whether to pull the pull cable up or down during exercise.

SMART EXERCISE DEVICE CAPABLE OF MEASURING MUSCLE STRENGTH IN REAL TIME
20240050806 · 2024-02-15 ·

The invention is a smart exercise device capable of measuring and displaying the muscle strength of a user in real time for the user to systematically perform progressive overload exercise with a load that suits the user, and managing data, having a simple structure and various exercise being performed with a constant load, and comprising: a support means (10) which is stepped on by the foot or which is connected to a structure; a strap (25) that can be pulled by a user; a first sensor (12) connected between the support means (10) and the strap (25) to sense the muscle strength pulling the strap (25); and an electronic circuit (13) connected to the first sensor (12) to process sensed muscle strength data so that the data can be displayed on the outside through a display window (13a) or a display means (40).

HINGE PIN SUPPORT

A hinge pin support for a resistance band can include a cylindrical body and an eye. The cylindrical body can extend along a longitudinal axis and can include a first end portion and an opposite second end portion. The cylindrical body can be insertable into a set of knuckles of a door hinge. The eye can connect to a resistance band. The eye can be coupled to a first end portion of the cylindrical body and can extend radially outward from the cylindrical body.

Full body exercise apparatus

A portable exercise apparatus utilized for exercising, stretching, and training multiple muscle groups of the body of a user. The apparatus is adapted to be worn about the waist or carried as a bandolier about the user's body. The apparatus has at least one releasably closable pocket and fixation rings for securing and carrying accessories, such as attachable handles, suspension lines, and elastic bands. The apparatus and methods of use provide the user with a plurality of configurations for assisted exercise regimens and the flexibility to exercise anywhere.

Exercise devices and methods with retractable cords

An exercise apparatus includes a first cord, a second cord, and an adjustment mechanism. The first cord is pullable from and retractable around a first pulley. The second cord is pullable from and retractable around a second pulley. The adjustment mechanism allows for adjusting a pull-out tension provided by the first cord independently of a retraction tension provided by the first cord. The pull-out tension provided by the first cord is a tension provided by the first cord when the first cord is pulled from the first pulley. The retraction tension provided by the first cord is a tension provided by the first cord when the first cord is retracted around the first pulley.

Strength exercise mechanisms

A body weight exercise device includes a frame, a first handle attached to the frame, a second handle attached to the frame, and a processor and memory. The memory includes programmed instructions to cause the processor to determine a characteristic associated with a performance of an exercise with the body weight exercise device.

RESISTANCE-BAND EXERCISE MONITORING DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
20190269967 · 2019-09-05 ·

A resistance-band exercise monitoring device includes a first force sensor that senses a first force applied to a first resistance band, a second force sensor that senses a second force applied to a second resistance band, a single electronics module with a single transceiver for wirelessly communicating with a remote device, and a flexible strap physically coupling with the first and second resistance bands. The flexible strap has conductive pathways electrically coupling the force sensors to the single electronics module. The single electronics module communicates values indicative of the first and second forces to the remote device via the single transceiver. The flexible strap does not stretch and protects the conductive pathways from excessive stress. The resistance-band exercise monitoring device may be configured in multiple ways to perform a wide variety of exercises.
