METHOD FOR OPERATING A FURNACE UNIT
A method operates a furnace unit with a feed chute and a camera for capturing an image of the surface of the chute. The chute includes a slide on which material flows to a grate, and the coverage of the chute and in particular of the slide with material, the burning bed thickness and the burnout zone are determined by an image evaluation.
Flare tip assembly
A high turn down ratio flare tip assembly, that allows for both low and high flowrate and pressure flows using a single flare. The flare assembly comprising a nozzle tube connected to the waste stream fuel inlet at one end. The other end of the flare tip assembly providing a seat for a conical structure with flow through orifices/ports that allow the waste stream to flow therethrough during low pressure operation. The conical structure connected to one end of a connecting rod, the connecting rod extending longitudinally downward through the nozzle tube and connected to a spring assembly. The flare tip assembly is designed to allow low flow and pressure to pass through the cone orifices, and during high flow and pressure operation, the cone is unseated from the nozzle tube, allowing the waste stream to flow therethrough. The flare tip assembly also includes a slotted/holed shroud that allows for smokeless combustion of the waste stream during high flow and pressure conditions.
Toilet-mounted electrical device created to extract and eliminate the bad odor produced by human flatulence and feces by ignition.
Toilet-mounted electrical device created to extract and eliminate via ignition the gases from the toilet bowl that generate the bad odor coming from human flatulence and feces.
System and method for diagnosing and controlling incineration facility and solid fuel boiler and managing life cycle of facility through heat exchange and design program and operation mode analysis of operator
A system and method enable an incineration facility to be controlled and diagnosed, and the life cycle thereof managed, using a heat exchange and design program and operation mode analysis of an operator of the facility. Operation efficiency is improved by comparing and analyzing (a) initial design values of the incineration facility, (b) measured actual valued obtained by measuring waste composition and heating values changed after construction of the facility and (c) operation values indicating actual operation adjustment values and operating result values operated by the operator and by analyzing the operator. The design values, measured actual values and operation values are compared and provided as data in graphs and tables.
Utilizing natural gas flaring byproducts for liquid unloading in gas wells
A production stream is received from a well formed in a subterranean formation. The production stream includes a gaseous portion and a liquid portion. The liquid portion has a base sediment and water (BS&W) percentage. At least a portion of the gaseous portion of the production stream is combusted to produce a flaring byproduct stream. The flaring byproduct stream is flowed through a coiled tubing to the well. The BS&W percentage of the liquid portion of the production stream is measured. The flow of the flaring byproduct stream to the well is decreased in response to the BS&W percentage reaching a threshold BS&W percentage.
BURNER FOR GENERATING A FLAME FOR THE COMBUSTION OF PROCESS GAS AND EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT DEVICE WITH A BURNER
The invention relates to a burner as well as to a waste gas treatment device for generating a flame for the combustion of process gas, especially of contaminants, in a combustion chamber, in each case having feed lines for a fuel gas and for an oxidizing agent so that they flow into a pre-mixing chamber, and having an ignition device for igniting the gas mixture contained in the pre-mixing chamber. According to the invention, a sensor for detecting and/or monitoring the flame is provided on the burner, especially at one end of the burner situated opposite from the pre-mixing chamber.
Portable flare
The Portable Flare is comprised of a pilot assembly, an air tube assembly, a burn gas tube assembly, a flame tube, a control system, a transport assembly, and a hydraulic lift. The pilot assembly is comprised of pilot gas supplied from the well site, a pilot gas supply line, a low-pressure regulator, a pressure measurement tap, a valve, a burner, an ignitor, and a pilot thermocouple. The temperature of the flame is controlled by monitoring the main burn thermocouple and adjusting the air flow with the blower that forces air up the air tube to mix with the burn gas.
System and method for remote monitoring and control of landfill and recycling operations
A system and method for remote monitoring and control of landfill and recycling operations provide an intelligent centralized platform for remote, real-time industrial data gathering and process control for management of landfill and recycling operations such as leachate, gas, water and other liquids. The system and method can directly upload machine data (such as liquid volumes, flows, level, equipment runtime, sorter data, status, etc) into a centralized platform. This data can be used for analytics and automation of processes and equipment control.
