A fitness device contains a strap, a handle, and a plate. The strap is substantially inelastic and flexible. The plate is substantially rigid. The handle at least partially envelopes the strap. An information related to the position of an actuator coupled to a cable which is coupled to a motor is received. A filter is used to provide an input to a motor controller coupled to the motor, to adjust torque on the motor such that a strength curve is implemented relative to the position of the actuator.

The exercise mat comprises a plurality of radial lines to ensure the user maintains a known distance from the wall mount. A first end of a resistance band is coupled to a tie down anchor and a second end of the exercise mat is coupled to a handle.

According to an aspect of an embodiment, an adjustable pull-up bar may include a bar, a structural mount, a lever arm, and a control system. The structural mount may be sized and configured to be attached to a stationary object. The lever arm may include a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end may be coupled to the structural mount. The distal end may be sized and configured to support the bar. The control system may be configured to adjust the height of the bar relative to the ground.

A weight rack having an elongated base is provided. The base may include a front side and a rear side. The base may include a height that is substantially greater than a width. Protruding from the front side of the base includes a plurality of U-shaped cradles. The U-shaped cradles may be oriented along the height of the elongated base. Systems and methods are disclosed for releasably securing items such as health, medical, fitness, and exercise equipment, in which anchor units are securely attachable directly or indirectly to a surface and are securely but releasably attachable to a plurality of items. The anchor unit may have a mounting base attachable to a surface, a fitting bracket that at one end may be permanently attachable or securely but releasably attachable to the mounting base, and an attachment subsystem for releasably, tightly, and securably attaching the mounting base to the fitting bracket. At its other end, the fitting bracket may be attachable to multiple items, or it may be permanently attachable to a selected item.

This disclosure addresses an exercise device adapted to enable the user to perform a salmon ladder exercise. The ladder includes a frame with at least one pair of support protrusions that receive an exercise bar. A bearing surface that receives the shaft of a catch array rotatably mounted in the frame. The device further includes a braking mechanism that applies a variable suppression force to the catch array shaft, the variable suppression adjusting the force required to rotate the catch array shaft in the bearing surface.

An integrated fitness system including a slidable unit that is slidably attached to a column vertical to the ground and that has exercise units mounted thereon. The exercise units are disposable in any of a plurality of configurations and have arms that are rotatable in any of a plurality of planes. The exercise units can be positioned along the column at any of a plurality of heights by sliding the slidable unit along the column to allow a user to use the exercise units for both arm and leg exercises.
