Cleaning Apparatus Using Reactive Oxidizers
An apparatus for washing a set of objects. The apparatus includes a washing chamber and a ROX generator fluidically connected to the washing chamber via a fluid conduit having a distal end that terminates at the washing chamber. The ROX generator is configured to provide reactive oxidizers to a carrier liquid to form a cleaning liquid with ROX cleaning bubbles, wherein the cleaning liquid is transported through the fluid conduit and into the washing chamber.
RHEOLOGY MODIFIED LOW FOAMING LIQUID ANTIMICROBIAL COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to rheology modified, low foaming aqueous antimicrobial compositions. The compositions are phase stable under acidic conditions, and do not need to be rinsed from the surface to which they are applied. The present disclosure further relates to methods of use thereof.
SMALL-SCALE COTTON PROCESSING
A seed processing system for cottonseeds includes a fluid distribution system configured to sequentially dispense an acid solution, a base solution and a rinse liquid onto the cottonseeds. A seed applicator system defines an interior configured to hold the cottonseeds and receive the acid solution, base solution and rinse liquid dispensed from the fluid distribution system. The seed applicator system includes a rotor configured to agitate the cottonseeds in the interior as the acid solution, base solution and rinse liquid are dispensed onto the cottonseeds to effectuate mixing.
Ozonated liquid dispensing unit
A mobile system is described that that produces and applies an ozonated liquid to clean and sanitize a variety of articles and surfaces. The mobile system includes an ozonated liquid dispensing unit that forms the ozonated liquid from water and ozone gas.
FOAMING PRODUCE WASHES AND METHODS OF DISPENSING AND USING THE SAME
The disclosure relates to produce wash products including a dispenser with a liquid retaining container and a foam dispenser head and a liquid produce wash present in the liquid retaining container, wherein the foam dispenser head is fluidly connected to the liquid produce wash, and wherein the liquid produce wash includes a natural oil or a component thereof, a fatty acid, an antioxidant, a surfactant, an alkali metal hydroxide, glycerin, water, and, optionally, a preservative. In some aspects, the foam dispenser head includes an air chamber and a liquid chamber fluidly connected to the liquid retaining container; when the foam dispenser head is activated by pumping or another means, air and the liquid produce wash are dispensed simultaneously as a foam. Also disclosed are methods of dispensing a produce wash, methods of using the disclosed produce washes to wash a piece of firm produce, and liquid produce washes.
Synthetic Base and Associated Methods
Glycine is an organic compound that can be used in the making of a synthetic base that obviates all the drawbacks of strong bases such as sodium hydroxide. The new compound is made by dissolving glycine in water and adding calcium hydroxide at a molar ration of about 1:1. Next, sodium percarbonate is dissolved in the solution to produce the new compound, which can be referred to as glycine hydroxide.

INFANT FOOD ABLE TO BE CONSUMED BY HAND AND PREPARATION PROCESS
A method for preparing an infant food consumable by hand comprises grinding at least one frozen plant base to form grains with a grain size of less than one millimeter, mixing the ground at least one frozen plant base with a natural texturizing agent in a proportion between 2% and 30% by weight based on the final mass of the mixture, and oil and/or at least one aromatic compound in a proportion between 2% and 20% by weight based on the final mass of the mixture, dosing the mixture to prepare individual portions, cooking the individual portions thus prepared in moist heat, freezing the cooked individual portions, and packaging the frozen cooked individual portions.
Method for producing surimi with reduced loss of myofibrillar protein
A method for washing fish flesh to remove water soluble sarcoplasmic proteins includes producing a mixture by combining wash water with fish flesh having sarcoplasmic and myofibrillar proteins, wherein the wash water removes some of the sarcoplasmic protein from the fish flesh; depositing the mixture on a screen separator. The wash water having sarcoplasmic proteins is separated from the mixture while a speed of the screen separator and a speed of the mixture at the interface with the screen separator remains about equal and reducing or eliminating shear forces at the interface between the screen separator and the fish flesh. Thus, washed fish flesh fish flesh with an increase in a percent of myofibrillar protein retained in the fish flesh is produced. In order to have a speed of the screen separator belt be equal with a speed of the mixture at the interface, the perforated screen separator is stationary, vibrating only in the up and down direction, advancing slowly or fast, or advancing only intermittently, while the wash water is allowed to percolate through the fish flesh and exit the perforated screen.
System for creating an oxidation reduction potential (ORP) for pathogenic control, and for providing water-ozone solutions to a potato washer
Systems and methods for creating an oxidation reduction potential (ORP) in water for pathogenic control are described. The systems and methods generate an oxidation reduction potential that provides pathogenic control of the solution as well as pathogenic control of the surfaces with which the solution comes in immediate contact. In this invention, the system supplies the solution to a potato washer for cleansing and disinfecting potatoes in the potato washer.
