Medical protective and exercise restraint systems and methods
Intended to prevent self-extubation of nasal or oral tubes of an awake patient who may reflexively attempt removal of such and allow the early mobilization and exercise necessary for preservation of as much muscle strength as possible, promotion of diaphragmatic motion necessary for liberation from a ventilator, reduction of patient stress allowing for sedation minimization and improved cognition for reduction of delirium and post-intensive care syndrome, and relief of medical staff and healthcare dollars to focus more on healthcare rather than on protection from self-harm.
RESISTANCE TRAINING BELT
A portable resistance training belt to perform a resistance exercises, the belt adapted to extend between limbs to perform a variety of resistance exercises. The resistance training belt may be used for isomeric training in some embodiments. In other embodiments, the belt is adapted to stretch at a predetermined tensile force rating. The belt may alternatively comprise segments having printed, relief, or recessed indicia.
Hip Thrust Exercise Device
A hip thrust exercise device includes a main body; a foot mount connected to the first body portion; a grip connected to the second body portion; an extension hingedly connected to the main and an abutment element; and a resistance element connected between the extension and main body. The resistance element provides a resistance force when the abutment element is moved away from the first body portion.
Devices and methods for targeted isolation and exercising of the gluteal muscles
Devices and methods for targeting and isolating specific regions of the gluteus muscle groups use a resistive band extending over an exerciser's pelvis region while performing gluteus bridge exercises. By adjusting the position of his or her body on the exercise board, an exerciser may precisely target and tone specific regions of the gluteus muscle group. Additional anchor points and cables may be used to perform many additional exercises with the exercise system.
Exercise Apparatus and System for Stationary Users
Exercise equipment, particularly a linear movable structure and associated selectable elastic resistance bands with or without guide track members are designed to allow low-impact exercises for one or two persons at the same time while permitting either or both participants to remain stationary when utilizing the equipment.
Weight-balanced exercise apparatuses and methods of using same
A weight-balanced apparatus, comprising: a main body shaped substantially like a hollow sphere with spherical caps removed in a same central axis of the body to create two opposing openings sized to account for the natural motion of a user's arm during exercise and where the main body is balanced in each of at least three dimensions from a center point of the sphere, wherein each of the two opposing openings have a continuous, rotationally symmetric beveled edge around the opening; and, a hand hold traversing centrally through the hollow of the spherical main body through the center point and transverse to the central axis.
FITNESS SYSTEM, FITNESS ASSEMBLY ARRANGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS ELEMENTS
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
Gamers knuckle bracelet for hand exercises
A knuckle bracelet and hand exercise device includes a main body with two elongated branches, i.e. a first branch and a second branch. Each of the elongated branches includes a plurality of digit holes along its length. Each one of the plurality of digit holes is configured for a single digit of a person's hand. A hinge couples together the first branch and the second branch in a side-by-side configuration next to the digit holes configured for the thumbs of the person's left and right hands.
