An exercise device includes an elongate guide having a longitudinal dimension between spaced apart ends. A pair of foot supports are slidably mounted on, and relative to the elongate guide. A body engaging member is adjacent a side edge of the elongate guide and is engageable by an individual using the device. A linkage system is connected to the pair of foot supports and to the body engaging member through rotatable connections, with the rotatable connections permitting interconnected movement of the body engaging member and foot supports in the same longitudinal direction along the longitudinal dimension of the elongate guide. Preferably, an adjustable rail also is provided by a pair of rotatably mounted arms.

An exercise machine which is capable of having its lift, roll, or pitch adjusted with respect to a base so as to provide a plurality of positions of the exercise machine with respect to the base. The exercise machine generally includes a base and an exercise machine movably connected to the base. The exercise machine may include a track, a carriage slidably connected to the track, and a biasing member attached to the carriage to apply a resistive force to the carriage. A plurality of actuators may be connected between the base and the exercise machine. The plurality of actuators may be utilized to adjust a pitch angle or a roll angle of the exercise machine with respect to the base. The plurality of actuators may also be utilized to lift or lower the exercise machine at a constant angle of pitch and/or roll inclination.

A leg exercise apparatus installable on an upright. The apparatus includes a fixing system installable on the upright and an arm extending along a first direction and hinged to the fixing system so as to be rotatable relative to a hinge axis. The apparatus further includes a first push roller mounted on one side of the arm, a rod for holding weights, and a support for supporting the rod at a first distance from the arm. The support is mounted on the arm.

A portable, foldable barre exercise device providing balance support for a user during exercise may include a pair of legs and a pair of support arms Each support arm may be pivotally attached to a corresponding leg and may be adapted to be extended upward with the device in an open state. A horizontal exercise bar may be arranged between upper ends of the support arms. The device may further include a pair of weight stacks of removable dumbbells, each attached to a corresponding support arm, and one or more quick release straps for facilitating folding of the device into a closed state for stowage and for strapping the support arms and legs together. The device is lightweight yet structurally configured so as to support a user's entire weight thereon.

An adjustable exercise equipment system includes a post as part of an exercise machine; a trolley system for engagement with the post, the trolley system having a body forming a channel to receive the post; rollers supported by the body and to provide movement of the body along the post; and a receiver supported by the body, the receiver to engage with a user engageable device; the body and the of rollers allow for selective movement along the post as a user interacts with the user engageable device.

An exercising device includes a base, a rail, a swinging chair, and a swinging unit. The rail is pivotally disposed at the base by at least one pivoting point. The swinging chair is movably disposed on the rail. The swinging unit is disposed between the rail and the base. The swinging unit is for changing an angle between the rail and the base.

An apparatus (100) for gait training has a movable base (200) comprising at least one drive unit (210) for moving the movable base, an arm arrangement (300) extending from the movable base, a weight support system (400) to enable a person to be at least partially suspended from above via said arm arrangement, a movement detector to detect a movement of the person and a control unit adapted to control said drive unit(s) in response to a movement of the person detected by the movement detector such that the movable base follows the person in a predetermined distance range and in a predetermined angular range with respect to a movement direction of the person.

A detachable stabilizing support system for use on an exercise machine, such as a functional trainer exercise machine, has adjustable support positions and is capable of being configured between an exercise position and a more compact storage position.

An exercise apparatus includes a base, a handlebar and handles. The handlebar presents opposite laterally extending handle support portions that have regular polygonal cross sections. Each handle includes a mounting portion that presents a corresponding regular polygonal opening that is adapted to slidably and adjustably receive one of the handle support portions. Each of the handles are able to be secured to one of the handle support portions in a range of locations between an inboard location and an outboard location and each of the handles is also able to be secured to one of the handle support portions in one of at least two angular orientations.
