Joint Seal System & Method
A joint seal system and method may include a seal and a band. The seal may be positioned between abutting flanges of two adjacent duct sections. A band may be positioned over the two flanges and the flange interface. The joint seal system and method may be configured to mitigate and/or eliminate leakage of pressure, flue gases, condensate, and/or any other fluid, gas, and/or vapor between abutting flanges of duct sections at a flange interface.
OIL BOILER
An oil boiler according to the present disclosure includes a combustion chamber in which a combustion reaction occurs, a burner including a fuel nozzle that sprays fuel of an oil type into the combustion chamber, an air nozzle that injects air into the combustion chamber, and a spark plug that ignites a mixture of the fuel and the air, an air supply pipe that guides the air supplied to the air nozzle, a duct that releases combustion gas, a heat exchanger that heats heating water by heat from the combustion reaction, and a case that receives said components. The duct includes a flue connecting adaptor to which a corrugated pipe and a flue are connected, in which the corrugated pipe is connected to an inlet of the air supply pipe into which the air is introduced, and the flue releases the combustion gas to the outside of the case.

EXHAUST PIPE SYSTEM
An exhaust pipe system for conducting exhaust gas from a combustion device to an exhaust system includes a first exhaust pipe with an inlet end and an outlet end, and a second exhaust pipe having a first line end and a second line end, wherein the inlet end of the first exhaust pipe is connectable to the first line end of the second exhaust pipe via a detachable coupling connection. A locking member is arranged to be movable between a closed position closing a passage and an open position opening the passage inside the first exhaust pipe. When the coupling connection is released, the locking member is automatically arranged in the closed position, and the second exhaust pipe has an actuating member which, when the coupling connection is established, urges the locking member into the open position.
CONDUIT LOCKING SYSTEM FOR AN APPLIANCE
A conduit locking system includes a first cylindrical conduit having a male and female portion. The female portion includes an engagement protrusion that is radially disposed on an outer surface, and an inner surface that is configured to engage an outer surface of a male portion of a second cylindrical conduit to define a continuous fluid passageway. The conduit locking system comprises an annular band having a tensioner and is configured to engage the male portion of the second cylindrical conduit. The annular band may also comprise a plurality of fingers disposed radially about the annular band. The plurality of fingers may be configured to engage the engagement protrusion of the female portion of the first cylindrical conduit. The conduit locking system is manipulatable between an unclamped position to a clamped position.
Flue vent adapter for multi-poise furnace
A furnace may include a furnace cabinet, an inducer blower, and a flue vent adapter. The furnace is configured as a multi-poise furnace and configured to be installed and operated in each of the horizontal left flow orientation, the horizontal right flow orientation, the upflow orientation, and the downflow orientation. The flue vent adapter is used when the furnace is installed and operated in the downflow orientation. Alternatively, the flue vent adapter is used when the furnace is installed and operated in each of the horizontal left flow orientation and the horizontal right flow orientation. The flue vent adapter has a unitary construction to reduce manufacturing costs, reduce a pressure drop through the flue vent adapter, and reduce leakage.
