RAIN CAP VENT FLUE ADAPTER
A rain cap system includes a rain cap and an adapter to mount the rain cap to multiple types of gas flues or pipes. The adapter includes a first flange to mount to the rain cap and an adjustable mounting portion to mount to the gas flue. The adjustable mounting portion includes first and second moveable links having first and second surfaces with first and second edges and first and second interfacing portions, wherein the first and second edges define an opening of the adapter. The adapter includes an adjustment portion to move the first and second moveable links towards one another to decrease the size of the opening of the adapter. The adjustment portion is configured to move the first and second links away from one another to increase the size of the opening of the adapter.
RAIN CAP VENT FLUE ADAPTER
A rain cap system includes a rain cap and an adapter to mount the rain cap to multiple types of gas flues or pipes. Sealed damper
A sealed chimney damper is provided for preventing flow of air between an interior and exterior of a structure through a chimney. The sealed damper includes a damper body having an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture; an upper flange formed around the outlet aperture of the damper body; a valve plate hingedly secured to the damper body adjacent the outlet aperture, the valve plate sized to substantially cover the outlet aperture when the valve plate is in a closed position; and a gasket secured to the upper flange of the damper body and surrounding the outlet aperture, wherein the gasket is positioned between the valve plate and damper body when the valve plate is in a closed position.
Sealed damper
A sealed chimney damper is provided for preventing flow of air between an interior and exterior of a structure through a chimney. The sealed damper includes a damper body having an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture; an upper flange formed around the outlet aperture of the damper body; a valve plate hingedly secured to the damper body adjacent the outlet aperture, the valve plate sized to substantially cover the outlet aperture when the valve plate is in a closed position; and a gasket secured to the upper flange of the damper body and surrounding the outlet aperture, wherein the gasket is positioned between the valve plate and damper body when the valve plate is in a closed position.
NONRETURN VALVE
A nonreturn valve for an exhaust pipe of a combustion device comprising including a tubular body, a floating body, a valve seat for the floating body disposed inside the tubular body, and a circumferential groove disposed radially inside the tubular body, wherein a radial inner circumferential wall portion is formed at least as a portion of a gas guide channel extending in the direction of the floating body and having a mouth circumferential edge. A tubular buoyancy body having the valve seat is disposed inside the circumferential groove and is formed to be movable in parallel to the radial inner circumferential wall portion between a buoyancy position in which the buoyancy body forms between itself and the mouth circumferential edge a circumferential passage gap connecting the circumferential groove to the gas guide channel and a blocking position closing the passage gap in an axial direction.
ACTIVE VENTING CONTROL SYSTEM
A cooking appliance includes an internal support defining a cooking cavity. An upper wrapper is disposed above the internal support. A separator plate is disposed adjacent to the upper wrapper. A venting channel is defined between the separator plate and the upper wrapper. A chimney is coupled to the internal support and the upper wrapper. The chimney fluidly couples the cooking cavity and the venting channel. A venting assembly is coupled to the upper wrapper and includes an actuator and a cover. A controller is configured to activate the actuator to at least one of vertically and rotationally adjust the cover relative to a vent opening in the upper wrapper to control an amount of steam in the cooking cavity in response to a sensed humidity.
ACTIVE VENTING CONTROL SYSTEM
A cooking appliance includes an internal support defining a cooking cavity. An upper wrapper is disposed above the internal support. A separator plate is disposed adjacent to the upper wrapper. A venting channel is defined between the separator plate and the upper wrapper. A chimney is coupled to the internal support and the upper wrapper. The chimney fluidly couples the cooking cavity and the venting channel. A venting assembly is coupled to the upper wrapper and includes an actuator and a cover. A controller is configured to activate the actuator to at least one of vertically and rotationally adjust the cover relative to a vent opening in the upper wrapper to control an amount of steam in the cooking cavity in response to a sensed humidity.
ROTARY ADJUSTABLE NECK FOR GAS VENT CAP
An adjustable neck for a vent cap includes a housing having a mount and a cylindrical body, where the cylindrical body includes an inner surface. The adjustable neck also includes adjustable straps arranged to form an adjustable inner diametrical surface disposed radially inward from the cylindrical body of the housing, relative to a central axis of the adjustable neck. The adjustable inner diametrical surface is configured to engage an outer pipe surface. The adjustable straps are coupled to the inner surface of the cylindrical body. The adjustable neck also includes legs coupled to the adjustable straps and to the mount, where the cylindrical body is configured to be rotated relative to the mount and the legs to adjust a dimension of the adjustable inner diametrical surface to correspond to the outer pipe surface.
ROTARY ADJUSTABLE NECK FOR GAS VENT CAP
An adjustable neck for a vent cap includes a housing having a mount and a cylindrical body, where the cylindrical body includes an inner surface. The adjustable neck also includes adjustable straps arranged to form an adjustable inner diametrical surface disposed radially inward from the cylindrical body of the housing, relative to a central axis of the adjustable neck. The adjustable inner diametrical surface is configured to engage an outer pipe surface. The adjustable straps are coupled to the inner surface of the cylindrical body. The adjustable neck also includes legs coupled to the adjustable straps and to the mount, where the cylindrical body is configured to be rotated relative to the mount and the legs to adjust a dimension of the adjustable inner diametrical surface to correspond to the outer pipe surface.
Vent stack lids and associated systems and methods
The present technology is generally directed to vent stack lids and associated systems and methods. In particular, several embodiments are directed to vent stack lids having improved sealing properties in a coke processing system. In a particular embodiment, a vent stack lid comprises a first lid portion proximate to and at least partially spaced apart from a second lid portion. The vent stack lid further comprises a first sealing portion coupled to the first lid portion and a second sealing portion coupled to the second lid portion. In several embodiments, the second sealing portion at least partially overlaps the first sealing portion over the space between the first and second lid portions. In further embodiments, at least one of the first or second sealing portions includes layers of tadpole seals, spring seals, rigid refractory material, and/or flexible refractory blanket.
