Arrangement and method in electric filter
An arrangement and method in connection with an electric filter of a boiler plant, the electric filter comprising an insulator chamber. The arrangement comprises a first scavenging duct for conveying warm scavenging gas to the insulator chamber. Said first scavenging duct is connected to a channel conveying process gas in the boiler plant, which means that it is possible to supply process gas to the insulator chamber.
COMBUSTION PROCESS
Combined combustion and post-combustion method whereby flue gas is generated by combustion in a main combustion zone, the flue gas being evacuated from the main combustion zone and introduced into a post-combustion zone where the flue gas is subjected to post-combustion and post-combusted gas is obtained which is evacuated from the post-combustion zone, whereby a first level of one or more combustible substances in the flue gas evacuated from the main combustion zone and/or a second level of one or more combustible substances in the post-combusted gas evacuated from the post-combustion zone is/are monitored, whereby a control signal is generated on the basis of the monitored level(s) and whereby the post-combustion oxidant injection rate or the stoichiometric excess of post-combustion-oxidant with respect to post-combustion fuel is regulated in function of said control signal.
Method for the purification of flue gas, filter system therefor, and retrofit unit
A flue gas is cleaned by feeding same to a filtering separator. The filtering separator is accommodated in a housing, and the housing has a pre-filter side ahead of the filtering separator and a clean side following the filtering separator in the flue gas flow direction. A filter element has an adsorbent formed of dust-free spheroidal charcoal on the clean side of the housing. The flue gas flows through the adsorbent in the filter element. Harmful substances from the group including mercury and/or dioxin and/or furan and/or further heavy metals are thereby removed from the flue gas.

Combustion process of glass kiln with non-catalytic reformers
Disclosed is a combustion process of a glass kiln with non-catalytic reformers. A corresponding system includes the glass kiln, the non-catalytic reformers A/B, a flue gas recovery device, a chimney, a high-temperature flue gas fan, a natural gas supply device, and an oxygen supply device. The present disclosure circulates part of flue gas of the glass kiln and increases concentrations of vapor and carbon dioxide in the circulating flue gas, the vapor and the carbon dioxide in the circulating flue gas are subjected to a conversion and reforming reaction with natural gas in the non-catalytic reformers for recycling sensible heat of the high-temperature flue gas and meanwhile generating high-calorific-value water gas at 1300° C. or above, thereby increasing a gross calorific value and a temperature of gas entering the glass kiln, and the high-calorific-value water gas, less unreacted natural gas, and oxygen are sufficiently combusted in the glass kiln.
Method and apparatus for converting hydrocarbons into clean energy and co-producing valuable by-products, while preventing the discharge of pollutants into the atmosphere
The present invention is an improvement in a number of ways of two issued patents identified in the preamble of the Specification which follows. Such improvement will yield a more reliable process that uses coal and other hydrocarbons but avoids the discharge of hazardous pollutants into the atmosphere and lowers investment costs. This invention offers a unique and comprehensive solution that makes possible the prevention of the ill-effects to health and environment while at the same time would also prevent the closure of badly needed power generation facilities that still provide some 40% of the electricity generated in this country. The herein comprehensive solution converts six pollutants into valuable co-products while low-cost, efficient, electric power is generated to result in attracting industries that will help keep badly needed jobs. This invention is also applicable to other disciplines.

Exhaust gas clean-up system for fossil fuel fired power plant
A fossil fuel fired power plant exhaust gas clean-up system is provided to remove detrimental compounds/elements from the exhaust gas emitting from the power plant to protect the environment. This is accomplished primarily by directing the exhaust gas from a fossil fuel fired power plant through both a reaction chamber containing a chemically produced compound and a catalytic converter. The final exhaust gas can now be safely exhausted to the atmosphere and only contains nitrogen gas, oxygen, water and a trace amount of carbon dioxide.

System and method for high efficiency power generation using a carbon dioxide circulating working fluid
The present invention provides methods and system for power generation using a high efficiency combustor in combination with a CO.sub.2 circulating fluid. The methods and systems advantageously can make use of a low pressure ratio power turbine and an economizer heat exchanger in specific embodiments. Additional low grade heat from an external source can be used to provide part of an amount of heat needed for heating the recycle CO.sub.2 circulating fluid. Fuel derived CO.sub.2 can be captured and delivered at pipeline pressure. Other impurities can be captured.
