Artificial Terrain Treadmill Belts and Treadmills
20230104643 · 2023-04-06 ·

The present invention relates to a treadmill belt having an artificial grass, turf, and/or rocky surface. In some embodiments, the belt may have rocky terrain. The belt is configured to be removably attached to existing treadmill machines or can be integrated to specifically designed machines. A treadmill with attached tread belt features a screen that enables users to choose a specific type of running surface available on the belt. In some embodiments, the screen displays a representation or imitation of the specific surface disposed on the belt. The turf can be raised or lowered to simulate different terrain and grass heights to practice running on hiking trails and other elevated outdoor areas. The treadmills come in different sizes, configurations, and sizes and can be used in athletic training and simulation. The treadmill helps prevent injuries to users when transitioning from running on a treadmill to outdoor terrain surfaces.

Exercise machine inclination device

An exercise machine inclination device for providing variable exercise intensity on an exercise machine by inclining the exercise machine. The exercise machine inclination device generally includes a base adapted for being positioned upon a floor, a support structure adapted for supporting the exercise machine, a hinge pivotally connecting the base and the support structure and an actuator connected between the base and the support structure, wherein the actuator adjusts an angle of the support structure.

USAGE CONDITION PROPOSAL SYSTEM, USAGE CONDITION PROPOSAL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM

A usage condition proposal system includes a storage medium that stores a reference DB having a plurality of pieces of causal relationship information that includes training information and variation range information, the training information including physical information for a user and usage condition information for a training machine, variation range information indicating a variation range of a joint angle of at least one joint of the user when the user trains using the training machine based on the usage condition information. A processor is configured to extract, with reference to the reference DB, based on the physical information and the specified variation range information, the causal relationship information of which the variation range information indicates the variation range satisfying a predetermined relationship with the specified variation range.

End platform for an exercise machine

An end platform for an exercise machine for increased support of an exerciser's spine, neck and head which allows for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform. The end platform for an exercise machine generally includes a novel, ergonomically improved stationary platform affixed to at least one opposed end of a substantially longitudinal exercise machine that includes at least a resistance biased reciprocating platform. The improved end platform provides for increased support of exercisers' spine, neck and head, thereby allowing for an expanded scope of exercises that cannot otherwise be performed on the machine without the improved platform, and further provides for the attachment of new and novel exercise equipment accessories to the exercise machine.

MUSCLE ACTIVITY OUTPUT SYSTEM

A muscle activity output system includes: a muscle activity database configured to hold movable part attitude information and muscle activity information in such a manner that the movable part attitude information and the muscle activity information are linked to each other; and a processor. The movable part attitude information indicates an attitude of a movable part of training equipment. The muscle activity information indicates a muscle activity of each of muscle sites of the exerciser. The processor is configured to acquire the movable part attitude information while the exerciser is moving the body along the trajectory, acquire current muscle activity information for each of the muscle sites based on current movable part attitude information of the training equipment and the muscle activity database, and output the current muscle activity information for each of the muscle sites.

LIFT MECHANISM FOR AN EXERCISE DEVICE

An incline mechanism for a treadmill includes a threaded rod supported by an upright structure. The threaded rod and a lift motor are connected to the upright support above the front end of an exercise deck. The threaded rod is threaded onto a threaded coupler. The threaded coupler is connected to a lift trolley connected to the front end of the exercise deck. As the lift motor rotates the threaded rod, the threaded coupler may move along the length of the threaded rod, thereby changing the inclination of the exercise deck.

Treadmill power station
09833658 · 2017-12-05 · ·

A treadmill power station is connected between a treadmill and its power outlet. The treadmill power station contains a power consumption sensor that reads information about the usage of the treadmill by externally analyzing its power consumption pattern. Information that can be derived in this manner includes, but is not limited to, the user's speed, distance covered and step count, as well as the general power consumption trend for the treadmill itself. The power station may contain a relay to activate or deactivate power outlets on the power station.

Stationary manual exercise sled
09833657 · 2017-12-05 ·

A manual non-motorized exercise treadmill with the ability to provide adjustable resistance to perform strength training resistance movements and simulate the movements of an exercise drive sled in a stationary location is described. A treadmill deck of the treadmill is supported by friction-reduction rollers, a front treadmill roller and a rear treadmill roller. The treadmill is operated by the user pushing and/or pulling with the feet of the user via a belt or harness attached to adjustable stationary hand bars. Variable resistance allows for increased or decreased difficulty in achieving the exercise according to the preference and ability of the user. The resistance is configured to be applied to the rollers and/or belt, making it more difficult for the user to manually move the treadmill belt. The treadmill belt is configured to oscillate for both concentric and eccentric exercises not provided by conventional treadmills.

Climbing exercise apparatus

A climbing exercise apparatus having ipsilateral and contralateral modes of operation may include a frame supporting movable generally vertically oriented members. The vertically oriented members may include arm and foot support members rotatably connected to carriage members movably supported on the frame. The climbing exercise apparatus may include three-dimensional movement capabilities for a user's arms and feet to move through three dimensional paths of motion during an exercise activity.

EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD

A treadmill includes a deck having a continuous track, and a plurality of slats fixedly connected to the track. The treadmill also includes a first post extending from the deck, a second post extending from the deck opposite the first post, and a first arm supported by the first post and including a first rotary control. The treadmill further includes a second arm opposite the first arm and supported by the second post. The second arm includes a second rotary control separate from the first rotary control. The first rotary control is configured to control a first function of the treadmill and the second rotary control is configured to control a second function of the treadmill different from the first function.
