LOWER BODY EXERCISE DEVICE
An exercise device includes a resilient compression member configured to resist a compressive force from a user, and a resilient tension member configured to couple to opposing sides of the compression member. The resilient tension member is also configured to form a first portion of a loop around the compression member and the user, and resist a tensile force from the user. The exercise device also includes an extension member configured to connect with opposing ends of the tension member to form a second portion of the loop around the compression member and the user.
Coil spring anchor ring retainer device
A spring ring retainer device is described for retaining a spring ring on a spring anchor in an exercise apparatus such as a Pilates chair. The retainer device eliminates metal to metal contact between the spring ring and the anchor to minimize wear and also provide tactile feedback to a user of proper spring position on the anchor. The device is preferably an elongated unitary body having a central semi-cylindrical portion having a first radius, a first curved end portion, and a semi-cylindrical connector portion joining the first curved end portion to one end of the central semi-cylindrical portion, a second curved end portion and a second semi-cylindrical connector portion joining the second curved end portion with the central semi-cylindrical portion.
Indoor training bicycle device
An indoor, stationary, bicycle training device that provides advantages over conventional designs of exercise bicycles is provided. The stationary bicycle may include a tilting/pivoting mechanism to orient the indoor bicycle to simulate descending or climbing. The indoor bicycle may include flexible and resilient frame elements to support the indoor training device to move side-to-side under some riding situations thereby simulating the side-to-side swaying motion of an outdoor bicycle under the same riding situations. The indoor bicycle may include several combinations of frame adjustments to provide configurable dimensions of the indoor bicycle to adjust the frame to properly fit the rider, which may be adjusted based on corresponding dimensions of a user's outdoor bicycle. Still other aspects of the stationary bicycle device may aid in creating an outdoor feeling while using the device.

Exercise rocker

EXERCISE DEVICE
A multipurpose exercise device having a base that rests on a support surface and a user platform upon which the user stands. The lower end of a perpendicular support post is mounted to the base to axially pivot thereon and the upper end of the post is pivotally mounted to the lower surface of the user platform. The user platform pivots with the support post in a horizontal plane parallel to the support surface and pivots on the support post in a vertical plane perpendicular to the horizontal support surface. Resistance elements are provided having one end mounted to the support post and the other end mounted to the base to control the velocity and angle of pivot of the user platform in the horizontal plane. Preferably, a plurality of resistance elements are provided having one end mounted to the base and the other end mounted to the user platform to control the velocity and angle of pivot of the user platform in the vertical plane. In use, the user stands on the user platform and performs exercise motions to propel the user platform to pivot in the horizontal plane and the vertical plane. The user platform may include various type foot mounts to simulate sports activities such as skiing and snowboarding.
COIL SPRING ANCHOR RING RETAINER DEVICE
A spring ring retainer device is described for retaining a spring ring on a spring anchor in an exercise apparatus such as a Pilates chair. Lower body exercise device
An exercise device includes a resilient compression member configured to be placed between inner thighs of a user and resist a compressive force from the inner thighs and gluteals of the user. The exercise device also includes a resilient tension member configured to couple to opposing sides of the compression member, form a first portion of a loop around the compression member and outer thighs of the user, and resist a tensile force from the outer thighs of the user. The exercise device also includes an extension member configured to connect with opposing ends of the tension member to form a second portion of the loop around the compression member and outer thighs of the user.
Pilates Exercise Machine
In one aspect of the present exercise machine, an assembly is attached to the end of a reformer, where the assembly comprises a seat mechanism and a pedal mechanism. The seat mechanism has a seat, a bracket supporting the seat, and a height adjustment system, where activation of the height adjustment system permits selective adjustment and locking of the height of the seat and the bracket by restricting travel of the seat and bracket to a slanted path that is slanted relative to the vertical. The pedal mechanism has an axle, a first pedal arm with a first pedal, and a second pedal arm with a second pedal. The pedal mechanism is located directly beneath the seat when the seat mechanism is in a lowest position and partially exposed in a higher position.
