A pilates reformer machine has a frame with a longitudinal central extruded spine (2) extending between a first support member (4a, 4b) and a second support member (6a, 6b), a carriage (8) supporting a platform (9) moveable along the spine, at least one retention spring housed within the spine and attached to the carriage, the at least one retention spring being selectively attachable to the frame by buttons (12), the carriage being provided with sides that wrap around sides of the spine and engage with an underneath of the spine, the carriage further including a plurality of wheels receivable within tracks formed within the central spine. A leg exerciser (30) and foot bar (20) may be included in the machine.

A rowing exercise device comprises a support structure; a movable user support movably associated with the support structure for movement relative to the support structure; a movable foot support movably associated with the support structure for movement relative to the support structure; a handle; and a rowing assembly operatively associated with the handle and at least the movable foot support to cause at least the movable foot support to move relative to the support structure with movement of the handle so that both a user s body and one or both feet move relative to the support structure with movement of the handle.

Apparatus suitable for pilates and other exercise comprises rails, supported on a box-like frame and an exercise carriage, mounted on the rails, wherein the carriage comprises a first carriage section and a second carriage section which sections can be (i) connected together to form a single exercise carriage which slides forwards and backwards on the rails, or (ii) disconnected to form two exercise carriages which independently slide forwards and backwards on the rails. The apparatus also has a seat with a spring-biased foot pedal and a spring-biased trapeze bar.

A fitness apparatus and a method for assembly are disclosed. The fitness apparatus comprises a wheel assembly that includes a first circular side parallel to a second circular side, both bounded by a curved tread. Within the wheel assembly is an enclosable storage chamber. The fitness apparatus also includes an axis perpendicular to the first circular side and the second circular side, and when the fitness apparatus is in an abdominal exercise wheel configuration, at least a portion of the wheel assembly rotates around the axis. The fitness apparatus also includes a centerbore along the axis that supports a first removable handle and a second removable handle when the fitness apparatus is in the abdominal exercise wheel configuration.

An exercise machine includes a frame, a seat track of the frame, a seat movably attached to the seat of the frame, at least one resistance mechanism connected to the frame, a pull cable in communication with the resistance mechanism, a crank assembly in communication with the resistance mechanism, a first swing arm connected to the frame, and a second swing arm connected to the frame.

A system is provided comprising a first and second semi-cylindrical open column, one column each configured to couple with forearms of a user and a first and second elbow coupling extension attached at approximately ninety-degree angles to the first and second column, respectively. The system also comprises a first and second raised bracket plate positioned lengthwise along the first and second column, respectively, each bracket plate containing three apertures and a bracket configured to connect the bracket plates, the bracket containing apertures for attachment to apertures on the bracket plates. The system also comprises a neck strap about thirty-six inches in length, each of two ends of the neck strap attached to the bracket. Attachment of the strap to the bracket and of the bracket to the bracket plates restrict arm motion during athletic training.

A floor exercise slider may have an attachment device on a side of a frame. A resilient pad is attached to an upper surface of the frame, with the resilient pad having raised blocks separated by grooves. A slide plate may be joined to a bottom surface of the frame. The raised blocks may be evenly spaced apart laterally and/or longitudinally by the grooves. Two sliders may be attached via the attachment devices to form a slider assembly which can accommodate both of the user's hands or feet.

Grip handles for coupling to a resistance force provided by exercise equipment, resistance bands, or the user's own bodyweight. Each grip handle is defined by an increasing outer surface circumference along the length of the handle to form a generally conical shaped handhold attached to a rigid or flexible member. Where, the member is coupled at the apex of the grip handle. The generally cone shaped handle provides a comfortable and ergonomic surface to securely distribute the user's grip force during the exercise movements, thus significantly reducing the pressure points and grip requirements of current exercise handles. Where in one embodiment, the flexible member may be a resistance band or in another embodiment, it may be a rope or other type of flexible cable attached to a cable pull machine, suspension trainer anchor, or other type of exercise machine. Additionally, it is conceived that the invention could be a single flexible member with a cone handle at each end, or an individual handle with a cone grip on one end and a means of attaching the flexible member of the grip to an exercise machine.

An air-cleaning fitness device has a main frame, a housing, a driving assembly, a fan device and at least one filter. The housing, the driving assembly and the fan device are mounted on the main frame. The housing has a confined space and an airflow passage. The driving assembly and the fan device are located inside the housing and connect to each other. The fan device has a second inlet and a second outlet. The second inlet and the second outlet are respectively aligned with two ends of the airflow passage. The at least one filter is mounted on the housing and is capable of covering either end of the airflow passage. The driving assembly has at least one driving member which extends out of the housing and drives the fan device. When the user operates the air-cleaning fitness device, the air-cleaning fitness device purifies the air at the same time.

A treadmill exercise machine may include a frame having a base and upright supports extending upward from a base. A handlebar assembly may be rotatably connected proximate the distal ends of the upright supports. The handlebar assembly may be moved from a non-deployed position to an upright locked position accessible to a user to grasp and pull down on an overhead hand bar of the handlebar assembly to reduce the weight load transmitted to the user's lower body.
