Pulverized coal drying system for pulverizer, pulverized coal drying method therefor, pulverized coal drying program, pulverizer, and integrated gasification combined cycle
An object of the present invention is to provide a pulverized coal drying system for a pulverizer, a pulverized coal drying method therefor, a pulverized coal drying program, a pulverizer, and an integrated gasification combined cycle capable of stably drying a carbonaceous feedstock irrespective of the type of the carbonaceous feedstock to be used. There is provided a controller (50) of a pulverizer (10) that dries a supplied carbonaceous feedstock by using a drying fluid and includes a flow rate controller that controls the flow rate of the drying fluid within upper and lower limits of the flow rate of the drying fluid that are set to dry a plurality of types of the carbonaceous feedstock having different moisture contents in such a way that the temperature of the drying fluid discharged from the pulverizer (10) approaches a target temperature.
Power generation system
A power generation system in which the combustion heat of hydrocarbon gas is used to heat the steam for power generation; at the same time, the exhaust heat thereof is used to dry and thy-distill low rank coal. The power generation system includes: a dry distillation step for dry-distilling low rank coal of high moisture content; a cooling step for cooling the fixed carbon obtained in the dry distillation step; a combustion step in which hydrocarbon gas obtained in the dry distillation step is used as the main fuel; and a power generation step in which there are provided a power generator moving a steam turbine by main steam generated in the combustion step and a condenser.
APPARATUS FOR REMOVING MOISTURE FROM PARTICULATE MATERIAL
An apparatus 100 for removing moisture from particulate material is provided. The apparatus 100 comprises a master chamber 102 having a master inlet 104 for the supply of gas to the master chamber 102. The apparatus 100 further includes a plurality of drying chambers 106 at least partially arranged within the master chamber 102. Each drying chamber 106 that is at least partially arranged within the master chamber 102 has a first end and a second end, wherein each drying chamber 106 is configured for directing a flow of gas-entrained particulate material between said first and second ends of the drying chamber 106. Each drying chamber 106 includes a plurality of dryer inlets for directing gas from the master chamber 102 into the drying chamber 106, for interacting with said flow of gas-entrained particulate material within the drying chamber 106.
HOPPER SYSTEM
A fuel material processing system includes a hopper assembly configured to receive a fuel material. A drying system is configured to remove moisture from the fuel material to generate a dried fuel material. A material delivery system is configured to provide the dried fuel material to a combustion system.
Pulverized fuel supply method for oxyfuel combustion boiler, and oxyfuel combustion boiler system
In an oxyfuel combustion boiler system, nitrogen gas separated by an air separation unit (ASU) is supplied as carrier gas to a pulverizer for drying and pulverization of fuel. A fluid mixture of the nitrogen gas from the pulverizer with pulverized fuel is supplied to a powder separation device where the pulverized fuel is separated. The separated pulverized fuel is mixed with the primary recirculated flue gas and supplied to a burner.
Combustion boiler with pre-drying fuel chute
A solid fuel boiler with one or more fuel chutes configured to pre-dry wet solid fuel prior to loading into a combustion chamber of the boiler, enabling higher thermal efficiencies and burning less fuel to produce the same steam quantity. The pre-drying fuel chutes pass through the boiler where hot combustion gases radiantly and convectivelyheat the chute walls to dry the wet solid fuel by radiant, convective, and/or conductive heating. Agitator mechanisms or structures within the chute mix the fuel for uniform heating, break up clumps of wet fuel, regulate the speed of falling fuel, prevent sticking, dry the fuel by means of steam and/or hot air, transport and deliver a cooling medium while a chute is offline in an operating boiler, and suppress fire using steam injection. Fuel from the chute can flow into a fuel storage bin or directly into the combustion zone of the furnace.
Lignite drying in a lignite fired power plant with a heat pump
The invention relates to a lignite fired steam power plant comprising a water/steam power cycle and a lignite dryer system having a heat pump circuit configured and arranged to provide heat energy to a lignite dryer of the dryer system. The heat pump includes a dryer heat exchanger, an expansion device and an evaporator heat exchanger connected to the first outlet line so as to enable heat energy transfer from the vapour of the first outlet line to the first working fluid. A compressor is also included in the heat pump circuit. In addition the heat pump circuit is connected to the water/steam power cycle by a steam makeup line from the pressure series of steam turbines and a condensate return line.
Lignite drying with a heat recovery circuit
The invention relates to a lignite fired steam power plant comprising a water/steam power cycle, a dryer system for drying lignite coal and a heat recovery system for recovering thermal energy from the dryer system. The heat recovery system vaporises condensate against a vapour line of the dryer steam and then compresses the vaporised condensate for use to preheat either or both combustion air or condensate of the water/steam power cycle.
Combination of pressure charging and metering for continuously supplying pulverized fuel into an entrained-flow gasifying reactor with long conveying distances
A system for fluidizing and conveying a powdery product is provided. The system includes plurality of powder-locking and metering vessels, the vessels each having a conveying line for the powdery product and a control mechanism for the mass flow of the powdery product. The conveying lines are brought together to form a common conveying line and are supplied to a remover of the powdery product. The powder-locking and metering vessels are alternatively fed with the powdery product and tensioned with the fluidizing gas under operating pressure. The control mechanisms of the powder-locking and metering vessels are activated in such a manner that the mass flow sum of powdery product in the conveying lines is identical to the desired value for the mass flow of powdery product to the remover of the powdery product.
