Collapsible camp stove
A collapsible camp stove having a cover, a chassis having a fuel burner and a pot support; and the pot support and the chassis and the cover are all pivotally interconnected to one another in a parallelogram structure wherein pivotal opening of the cover relative to the chassis causes the pot support to raise upwardly away from a top surface of the chassis while the pot support continuously remains parallel to the top surface of the chassis.
Heating system and method of operating same
A heating system can include a supply piping assembly configured to supply either a first fuel or a second fuel to at least one main burner, a first pilot burner and a second pilot burner. First and second electromagnetic valves can be operatively connected to an electrical power supply and at least one of the thermocouples. The first and second electromagnetic valves can be configured to permit and prevent the fuel from reaching at least one of the first pilot burner, the second pilot burner and the at least one main burner depending upon thermoelectric potential received from the at least one of the thermocouples.
Device for handling combustion gas
A device for handling combustion gas comprises: a housing, a first electronic element, a second electronic element, a connecting element, and a sealing element. The housing defines a gas chamber for the combustion gas and an ambient chamber for ambient air. The first electronic element is positioned within the gas chamber and is exposed to the combustion gas. The second electronic element is positioned within the ambient chamber and is not exposed to the combustion gas but is exposed to the ambient air. The connecting element electrically connects the first electronic element and the second electronic element. The sealing element is made at least partially from an elastomer, and is compressed between the connecting element and the housing, and seals the gas chamber against the ambient chamber even if electrically insulating material of the connecting element or the connecting element is removed.
Method and device for verifying the integrity of gas valve operators in a gas appliance
A method and device for verifying the integrity of each operator of a gas valve including two operators disposed in succession on a passage path for the gas directed to a burner; the operator being subjected to command action by a corresponding actuator controlled by a command and control unit adapted to sense the presence of the flame in the burner, which is correlated with the gas flow rate reaching this burner. Each operator is made to close alternately, with corresponding cessation of gas feed to the burner and successive sensing of the extinguishing of the flame at the burner within a predefined time period, power to these operators being completely interrupted if it is sensed after said time period that the flame is extinguished.
WATER-HEATING APPARATUS COMPRISING COMBUSTIBLE GAS BURNER, IN PARTICULAR A STORAGE WATER HEATER
An apparatus for heating water comprises a main burner, a pilot burner, a valve assembly with a main valve and a pilot valve having a shutter, a magnetic thermoelectric safety assembly with a thermocouple device holding the pilot valve open in the presence of a flame in the pilot burner, a button member mounted on a rod that is slidingly guided in the valve assembly and an electrical ignition member supplied via an electrical connection circuit, a switch device in the circuit being designed to be switched by means of the button member so as to close the electrical circuit when said button member is pressed in order to carry out actuation of the magnetic assembly so as to open the passage of gas through the pilot valve towards the pilot burner and to ignite the pilot flame by means of the sparks generated by the ignition member.
Gas internal combustion engine gas leak checking device and method for same
An object of the present invention is to provide a gas leakage checking device and a method for the same, for checking fuel-gas leakage of safety shutoff valves simply and securely by measuring a pressure in a fuel supply pipe. The gas-leakage checking device 8 includes a first safety shutoff valve 81 disposed in a fuel-gas supply pipe 89 of the gas internal combustion engine 1 for permitting or shutting off a flow of the fuel gas, a second safety shutoff valve 82 disposed on a downstream side of the first safety shutoff valve 81, a gas-leakage checking pipe 89c branched from between the first and second safety shutoff valves 81, 82, a gas-discharge valve 83 disposed in the gas-leakage checking pipe 89c and configured to discharge the fuel gas between the first and second safety shutoff valves 81, 82, a first pressure meter P1 for detecting a pressure of the fuel gas in the gas-leakage checking pipe 89c, and second pressure meters P2, P3 disposed on a downstream side of the second safety shutoff valve 82, for detecting the pressure of the fuel gas in the fuel-gas supply pipe 89.
Multi-gas valve for a gas burning appliance
.[.The cooking appliance (1) having a control panel (2) is equipped with one or more gas flow (Q) regulating valves, wherein the rotary regulating plug (6) is provided with various peripheral through holes (16-19). The control knob (9) being interchangeable for fitting to the actuating shaft (7), is chosen from the two units available, one and the other permitting different angular limit positions of the regulating plug (6) for the supply of a constant minimum gas flow Qmin, adjusted each one for a different type of gas N gas or LP gas. The outlet conduit (5) of the valve is equipped with a further injector nozzle (21,23) for adjusting a constant gas flow Qmax to be fed into the conduit (25) of the correspondent burner, when the cooking appliance is supplied with a LP gas..]. .Iadd.A valve adapted to regulate the flow of both a natural gas and a liquefied petroleum gas. According to one implementation the valve includes a valve body having a rotatable regulating organ positioned between a valve inlet and a valve outlet, the valve outlet having a first restriction and a second restriction successive to the first restriction, the first restriction including a first hole calibrated to provide a given maximum flow rate of the natural gas at a first pressure in the absence of the second restriction, the second restriction removeably attached to the valve outlet, the second restriction including a second hole calibrated to provide a given maximum flow rate of the liquefied petroleum gas at a second pressure..Iaddend.
