VALVE ACTUATOR WITH EXTERNAL COILS
A gas valve having a gas valve body having a valve and a valve seat both housed by the gas valve body. The valve may further include an armature housed by the gas valve body, a pole situated outside of the gas valve body so as to not be exposed to gas in the gas valve body. The pole may be positioned to be in magnetic communication with at least part of the armature through the gas valve body. The valve may further include a coil situated outside the gas valve body. The coil may be wound about the pole such that activation of the coil produces a magnetic flux that is carried to an end of the pole, through the gas valve body, and to the armature, resulting in movement of the armature, and movement of the valve between the open position and the closed position.
Human-machine interface for gas valve
This disclosure relates generally to valves, and more particularly, to gas valve assemblies. In one example, a valve leakage test and/or other tests may be performed on a valve assembly including a valve body with a first valve and a second valve, where the valves may be positioned across a fluid path in the valve body with an intermediate volume between the valves. A human machine interface (HMI) may be in communication with the valve assembly to initiate and/or monitor tests on the valve assembly. The HMI may include a start button on a user interface for initiating the tests on valve assembly. The HMI may receive results of the tests (e.g., valve leakage tests) in real time during the test and display the results of the tests on a display of the HMI in real time.
Thermoelectric assembly for powering electromagnetic valves of a cooking appliance
A thermoelectric assembly for powering one or more electromagnetic valves of a cooking appliance. According to one embodiment the assembly includes a main current circuit that includes a thermocouple, a cable configured for electrically connecting the thermocouple with an electromagnetic valve, and a transistor connected to the cable and configured for de-energizing the electromagnetic valve. The main current circuit also includes a connection module that includes a power supply connected to the transistor, the power supply having input terminals configured for being connected to an external energy source, a rectifier, and a resistive block connected between one of the input terminals and the rectifier, the resistive block being configured for minimizing the current circulating through the power supply to a value equivalent to the galvanic isolation.
Gas governor

A gas appliance includes a burner, a gas valve, an ignitor, a thermocouple, and a control device, wherein the control device is adapted to execute a control method comprising the following steps: controlling the ignitor to ignite and the gas valve to open; receiving a sensing voltage output from the thermocouple; stop the ignitor from igniting and controlling the gas valve to keep a gas pipe be in an open state when the sensing voltage increases to a first voltage; receiving the sensing voltage output from the thermocouple continuously, and controlling the gas valve to block the gas pipe when the sensing voltage decreases from higher than a second voltage to lower than the second voltage, wherein the second voltage is higher than the first voltage. Whereby, an ignition procedure could be speeded up and the gas could be blocked earlier as the flames are extinguished.

The gas furnace includes a burner to generate high-temperature exhaust gas, an exhaust flow path, a blower to suction indoor air through a recovery flow path, a supply flow path to guide the indoor air to the indoor space after undergoing heat exchange in the exhaust flow path, and a fuel supply unit including a fuel supply line and a fuel discharge line, configured to supply fuel to the burner, and a valve between the fuel supply line and the fuel discharge line. The valve includes a step motor, and a blocking member coupled to a rotating shaft of the step motor and configured to move straight via by driving of the step motor, and an opening degree of the valve between the fuel supply line and the fuel discharge line is adjusted by the straight movement of the blocking member.
