Impeller for a motor-driven chimney draft system, comprising a flue gas impeller (10) for creating, in a flue gas passage, a draft in a flue gas downstream direction. A flue gas deflector disk (20) is situated downstream relative to the flue gas impeller (10) and connected to the flue gas impeller (10); and a hub for connecting the impeller to an end portion of a driving shaft of a motor (100), wherein the hub and the end portion of the driving shaft, when connected, are both situated downstream relative to the flue gas deflector disk (20), the hub indirectly connected to the flue gas deflector disk (20) by means of intermediate members. Advantageously the intermediate members are impeller blades (40) connected to the downstream side of the flue gas deflector disk (20) and to a venting disk (30) with venting holes (31, 32) so as to form a turbine.

An upper end of the heat exchanger is provided with a fume collecting hood. The burner includes multiple fire rows arranged side by side, and the fire rows are connected to each other through a gas-distributing rod. The gas-distributing rod is provided with a segmented self-priming valve. A gas-regulating valve is provided on a gas inlet pipe. An inlet end of an internal heat-exchanging pipe of the heat exchanger is communicated with a cold water feeding pipe. The thermostatic chamber has a water inlet connected to a hot water delivering pipe and a water outlet connected to a hot water discharging pipe, and a connecting pipe is provided between the cold water feeding pipe and the hot water delivering pipe.

An upper end of the heat exchanger is provided with a fume collecting hood. A method and apparatus for venting around a chimney termination point. The invention includes a chimney sleeve having a first opening and a second opening opposite the first opening, both the first opening and the second opening capable of fitting a vertical chimney pipe with a clearance. The sleeve can be fitted with a support collar and various other attachments, including a screen extension and rain cover. The gasses heated by the chimney pipe may vent through the sleeve. The sleeve also serves to force a clearance around the chimney pipe, which prolongs the realized lifespan of the chimney pipe and further helps prevent fires.
