REGULATING MECHANISM FOR REGULATING THE FLOWS FROM A PLURALITY OF GAS OUTLETS IN A FUEL GAS VALVE
The present invention discloses a regulating mechanism regulating the flows from a plurality of gas outlets in a fuel gas valve, comprising an actuator, a push rod, a presser plate assembly, regulating rods and a valve body. Wherein the valve body has a plurality of gas outlets, a regulating rod is provided in each regulating port which exists between the gas inlet and each gas outlet, a resetting device is provided between each regulating rod and the valve body, and the actuator drives the push rod which is around by the regulating ports to move along the axis. The push rod causes the presser plate assembly to move up and down to press or relax the regulating rods and simultaneously change the degree of opening between the head portion of each regulating rod and the corresponding regulating port so that the flow from each gas outlet changes synchronously.
KNOB MECHANISM FOR GAS COOKTOP
A knob assembly for a gas cooktop may include a knob configured to control a flow of gas from a burner of a cooktop starting at a resting position, the knob defining a hollow interior and having a support cylinder extending vertically through the hollow interior, wherein the support cylinder includes a projection flap protruding therefrom, an inner lock ring arranged at least partially within the hollow interior of the knob and having a chamfered region defining a ring opening adjacent an inclined portion, where the opening is configured to selectively receive the projection flap in response to depression of the knob and where the projection flap slides along the inclined portion in response to subsequent rotation of the knob, the inclined portion imparting frictional resistance on the projection flap to prevent against unintentional rotation of the knob.
LIGHTING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAYING A CONTROL SETTING OF A COOKING APPLIANCE
Apparatus and method of indicating a control setting of a gas cooking appliance. The gas cooking appliance includes a burner, a flame detector for detecting a flame of the burner, a gas valve that controls gas flow to the burner, a control knob coupled to the gas valve and rotatable to control the gas flow to the burner and a lighting system for emitting different light signals depending on the position of the control knob. The control knob is movable between a closed position where no gas is allowed to pass to the burner and an open position where gas is allowed to pass to the burner, the open position comprising a plurality of operable positions, wherein each operable position is related to a quantity of gas passing to the burner. The lighting system includes a power control assembly cooperating with the control knob and electrically coupled to a lighting device. The power control assembly is also connected to the flame detector so that the lighting device only switches on, according to the gas quantity passing to the burner, only if the flame detector detects a flame.
Cooking appliance gas oven burner control during oven warm-up operation
A cooking appliance and method of operating the same utilize a multi-level valve system that regulates an output power level of a gas burner for an oven between a maximum output power level and at least one reduced output power level to selectively reduce the output power level of the gas burner during at least a portion of an oven warm-up operation, e.g., to improve burner operating characteristics during the oven warm-up operation.
GAS SAFETY SHUTOFF
A system for igniting a grill can include a solenoid valve, a flame rectification sensor, an igniter, and a control circuit connected to the solenoid valve and the flame rectification sensor. The solenoid valve controls flow of gas to the grill's burner and includes a switch that closes when a handle connected to the switch opens the solenoid valve. The control circuit sends current to the solenoid valve when the switch is closed to hold the solenoid valve open. After the switch closes, the igniter is ignited. After ignition, the control circuit monitors the presence of a flame with a flame rectification sensor. If no flame is detected after a certain amount of time, the control circuit stops sending current to the solenoid valve to close the solenoid valve.
Gas safety device using low power to control high flow
The present invention provides a gas safety device using low power to control high flow, which includes a controller, a differential pressure regulating valve, and a driver, the controller can control if the gas can flow into the differential pressure regulating valve, the differential pressure regulating valve is connected to the controller, and can control if the gas can flow out for burning according to the gas pressure changes, the driver uses a drive piece to drive a micro switch lever inside the controller, so that the controller can output gas, thus, the present invention can control high gas flow with low power while maintaining safe usage of the gas.
