COMBUSTION ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND COMBUSTION CONTROL DEVICE OF GAS TURBINE

This combustion adjustment method applied to the combustion control of a combustor executes a first step for selecting a combustion parameter for a load of a gas turbine and increasing or decreasing a command value of the combustion parameter from an original location. When the command value reaches a target tolerance upper limit value or a target tolerance lower limit value, the first step is terminated. Furthermore, a second step for decreasing or increasing the command value in a direction opposite to that of the first step is executed. When the command value reaches the target tolerance upper limit value or the target tolerance lower limit value, the present invention includes a combustion tolerance confirmation step for confirming a combustion tolerance range of the combustion parameter at which the second step is terminated.

A method to operate a fuel-operated vehicle heater comprising the lowering of a combustion air ratio λ between supplied combustion air and supplied fuel to a combustion chamber of the fuel-operated vehicle heater from a starting value λ.sub.start>1 to a range λ<λ.sub.start for a time period Δt.

Gas cooking appliance

According to some embodiments gas cooking appliances are provided that include at least one burner, an electrode, and a push button unit with a push button for activating the electrode. A gas valve is provided for each burner for regulating gas flow arriving from a gas conduit. An electromagnetic shut-off valve is arranged in the gas conduit and includes a closure member for closing the passage of gas. A control unit controls the shut-off valve. The closure member includes a stable closed position and a stable open position, the closure member changing position upon receiving electric current pulses. The push button unit is configured for pushing the closure member of the shut-off valve to the open position while at the same time activating the control unit and the electrode when the push button is pressed when the gas cooking appliance off. The control unit controls the shut-off valve by means of electric current pulses once the push button has been pressed.

A method of generating a control signal for a temperature control system is disclosed. The control signal has one of an “on” state in which the temperature control system is to be activated and an “off” state in which the temperature control system is to be deactivated. The method comprises calculating a temperature error measure in dependence on a target temperature and a current temperature value. A rate of temperature change in the environment is determined and used to set a variable error threshold. The method switches between a continuous “on” signal mode and a pulse-width-modulation (PWM) mode, in which the output signal comprises alternating “off” and “on” periods in accordance with a PWM pattern. The switch occurs in dependence on the temperature error measure and the variable error threshold.
