A method for manufacturing a massage wear-resistant treadmill deck and a finished product thereof are provided. The method includes step 1: providing a mold, the mold having a plurality of cavities thereon, a wear-resistant material being injected into the cavities of the mold; step 2: placing a deck in the mold so that the wear-resistant material is bonded to a surface of the deck to form a plurality of massage protrusions on the deck; and step 3: demoulding the deck from the mold, the surface of the deck being formed with the massage protrusions to form the massage wear-resistant treadmill deck. A wear-resistant layer having the massage protrusions is first formed in the mold, and then the deck is placed into the mold to bond with the wear-resistant layer to form the massage wear-resistant treadmill deck. The manufacturing cost is reduced and the manufacturing mobility is improved.

SPLICING FLOOR OMNIDIRECTIONAL TREADMILL PLATFORM

An omnidirectional treadmill platform includes a splicing floor, an omnidirectional driving base and a floor removing/splicing actuator. A plurality of omnidirectional wheels are arranged in the driving base. The splicing floor is placed on the omnidirectional wheels. A user moves on the splicing floor, and the omnidirectional wheels of the driving base cause the splicing floor to move in a direction opposite to the movement direction of the user thus enabling the user to experience unlimited free movement, while in reality remaining in place. The splicing floor is formed by splicing a plurality of splicing blocks. The floor removing/splicing actuator removes and splices the splicing blocks at right positions, recycling splicing blocks and achieving the unlimited extension of the splicing floor. The new platform provides unrestricted movement and variable ground surface simulation irrespective of turn radius with near-negligible inertia force without the use of special footwear.

Exercise system and method

A deck for a treadmill includes a continuous track, and a plurality of slats connected to the track. The track and the plurality of slats at least partly define an inner space of the deck, and are rotatable about the inner space. The deck also includes a first motor configured to modify a speed of rotation of the track, and a second motor configured to modify a position of the deck relative to a support surface on which the deck is supported. The first motor and the second motor are disposed within the inner space.

TREADMILL WITH RESTRAINT DEVICE

The present invention provides a manual treadmill, the manual treadmill includes a frame having a front support portion and a rear support portion, a running belt disposed about and supported by the front support portion and the rear support portion, and a speed limiting device, wherein the running belt rotates in a first rotating direction or a second rotating direction in response to a directional movement of a user. The speed limiting device includes a one-way bearing, a rotating element and a transmission element, wherein the rotating element is coupled to the front support portion, and the one-way bearing is connected to the rotating element via the transmission element to limit a speed of the running belt in the second rotating direction.

An exercise treadmill is disclosed. The treadmill can be constructed with no obstructing front rails, with one or more side rails, and/or with a structural flat or ramped surface at the front allowing the user to exercise with unconstrained motion. The treadmill can further include one or more accommodations to help the user stay safe, remain longitudinally centered, and/or adjust speed with controls built into the treadmill, or automatically based on body position relative to sensors built into the side rails. The treadmill belt may be motor driven, or be user driven and dynamically moderated by resistance. The treadmill configuration can be utilized to provide a virtualized exercise experience for the user.

MANUALLY POWERED TREADMILL

A treadmill includes a frame; a rotatable element coupled to the frame; a running belt at least partially supported by the rotatable element; and, a first element and a second element, both of which are coupled to the running belt. The running belt includes a running surface, at least a portion of which is curved. Further, one of the first and second elements and the running belt freely rotate in a first direction of rotation relative to the frame. However, in a second direction of rotation, opposite the first direction of rotation, the one of the first and second elements is substantially prevented from rotation relative to the frame to substantially prevent or resist rotation of the running belt relative to the frame.
