A treadmill includes a deck having a continuous track, and a plurality of slats fixedly connected to the track. The treadmill also includes a first post extending from the deck, a second post extending from the deck opposite the first post, and a first arm supported by the first post and including a first rotary control. The treadmill further includes a second arm opposite the first arm and supported by the second post. The second arm includes a second rotary control separate from the first rotary control. The first rotary control is configured to control a first function of the treadmill and the second rotary control is configured to control a second function of the treadmill different from the first function.
EXERCISE TREADMILL CAPABLE OF GENERATING ELECTRICAL POWER
An exercise treadmill includes a machine body, which has at least two rollers, a flywheel linked with one of the two rollers, a support assembly mounted between the two rollers, and a running belt fitted around and engaged with the two rollers and arranged around the support assembly. The exercise treadmill is provided with an accelerating means so that, while a user is walking or running on the machine body, the treading force provided by the user allows the running belt to be accelerated to move around the two rollers for generating electrical power. A running deck includes a frame defining two opposing sliding surfaces, and an endless slat belt including a plurality of slats each having an inner surface slidably supported on the sliding surfaces of the frame and a plurality of knuckles arranged at opposing side edges thereof and a plurality of connection devices respectively mounted in the knuckles between each two adjacent slats to pivotally connect each two adjacent slats together. The knuckles at the two opposite side edges are arranged in a staggered manner so that the slats can be closely and pivotally connected to one another by the pivot connection devices, simplifying the structure, reducing the weight, and enhancing the overall sense of beauty.
Enhanced environment simulator for proxy robot handlers
An omnidirectional treadmill environment simulator is disclosed. The omnidirectional treadmill environment simulator includes a circular simulator stage area, a plurality of transport mechanisms that maintain an object at or near the center of a circular simulator stage area and at least one processor. The processor is configured to collect position data of the object and process the position data to control the transport mechanisms. Also included is a receiver for receiving data from a remote location and a terrain analysis computer for processing the data received from the remote location. The terrain analysis computer collects the data received from the remote location to form an accurate simulation of an upcoming condition at the remote location. The omnidirectional treadmill environment simulator includes a transmitter for transmitting the position data to a remote location.
EXERCISE MACHINE AND USER INTERFACE FOR EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine may include a tower enclosing, at least in part, a cable and pulley system, a base supporting the tower on a surface, and a plurality of handles operatively coupled to the cable and pulley system and configured to extend from the tower. The exercise machine may include a resistance motor operatively coupled to the cable and pulley system. The resistance motor may include a fan and a flywheel connected to a common shaft. The exercise machine may be operatively associated with a user interface which includes an exercise display area configured to activate one or more exercise indicators in a predetermined sequence and a control area including at least one mode control operable to change the sequence of activation of the one or more exercise indicators. The user interface may be provided on a console of the exercise machine.
