A seated treadmill has a structure with a front portion and a rear portion. A front roller is rotatably mounted on the front portion of the structure, a rear roller is rotatably mounted on the rear portion of the structure, and a belt circumscribes the front and rear rollers. The front and rear rollers are much closer together than prior art treadmills, typically about 10-30 inches. The treadmill may further include a remote control for controlling operation of the treadmill, and a shutoff switch in the event that too much force is placed upon the treadmill, such as, e.g., if the user attempts to stand on the treadmill.

A pedal system for tracking use of a cycle style exercise device. The pedal system includes a pedal with a shaft for coupling to the pedal crank of the exercise device and a housing that is rotatable about the shaft. An accelerometer positioned in the housing is configured to provide data about the movement of the pedal to a microcontroller. A wireless communication chip positioned in the housing is used to transmit the data about the movement of the pedal to a remote device via the wireless communication chip. The remote device is programmed to receive, display and track the data about the movement of the pedal.

As the user pedals, the user may retract or extend his or her legs and tilt his or her legs in order to activate all the muscles of the abdominal region. The apparatus includes a leg-exercising device, a support base, a lifting arm, and a linear actuator. A spherical bearing allows the tilt of the leg-exercising device. The leg-exercising device is preferably a cycling machine. The lifting arm pivots the leg-exercising device about the support base and is controlled by the linear actuator. The apparatus preferably applies resistance to the rotary movement of the leg-exercising device in order to strengthen the abdominal muscles. The resistance is adjusted by a control unit.

A computer-implemented system may include a treatment device configured to be manipulated by a user while the user is performing a treatment plan, a patient interface comprising an output device configured to present telemedicine information associated with a telemedicine session, and a first computing device configured to: receive treatment data pertaining to the user while the user uses the treatment device to perform the treatment plan; identify at least one aspect of the at least one measurement pertaining to the user associated with a first treatment device mode of the treatment device; determine whether the at least one aspect of the measurement correlates with a secondary condition of the user; and, in response to a determination that the at least one aspect of the at least one measurement is correlated with the at least one secondary condition of the user, generate secondary condition information indicating at least the secondary condition.
