Exercise Machine Ergonomic Handle System
20190083842 · 2019-03-21 ·

An exercise machine ergonomic handle system for providing hand-holds for the performance of exercises with reduced flexion and/or extension of the hand and wrist and reduced ulnar and/or radial deviation so as to reduce injury and allow application of full strength to the exercise machine. The exercise machine ergonomic handle system generally includes a longitudinally extending frame, a carriage that moves upon a first longitudinal portion of the frame, and at least one pair of ergonomic handles positioned on a second longitudinal portion of the frame. The ergonomic handles rotate about an axis to prevent flexion and/or extension, and can be positioned at a width and/or angle that reduces ulnar and/or radial deviation.

Articulating joint exercise apparatus and method
10232219 · 2019-03-19 · ·

An articulating joint exercise apparatus is provided having a portable structural frame, a slide, a body-engaging mounting fixture, and a brake. The slide has a friction-reducing bearing surface configured for movement along the rail extending between a range corresponding with extension and retraction of a user limb and associated user joint that exceeds an end range for a user under rehabilitation corresponding with hyperextension and hyperflexion. The body-engaging mounting fixture is affixed for articulation to the slide and is configured to attach to a user limb of a user joint. The brake is carried by the slide and is configured to be actuated by a user to affix the slide and body-engaging mounting fixture at one of an anatomically limited terminal range with a static stretch of a user joint when a limb of a user joint is affixed to the mounting fixture. A method is also provided.

Lower Back Exercise Apparatus
20180361199 · 2018-12-20 ·

A lower back exercise apparatus exercises or imparts laterally and upwardly directed movements into a user's lower back when seated thereupon. The lower back exercise apparatus includes a lower base assembly, an upper seat assembly, and a motor assembly. The lower base assembly includes an upper, laterally concave base surface. The upper seat assembly includes a lower, laterally convex seat surface and an upper seat surface. The upper seat assembly is laterally ridable upon and movable relative to the lower base assembly. The motor assembly is drives a laterally directed, cylindrical arc length trajectory of the upper seat assembly relative to the lower base assembly. The concave and convex surfacing have a common radius of curvature with a common fulcrum point spatially located adjacent an upper portion of a user's lumbar spinal region. Lateral flexion is thus imparted into a user's lower back when a user is seated thereupon.

Exercise Machine With Adjustable Handles

An exercise machine with adjustable handles that provide for multiple handle positions. The exercise machine with adjustable handles generally includes a frame with one or more rails, a carriage movably positioned upon the rails, and a pair of adjustable handles positioned near an end of the frame. The adjustable handles each have a handle portion that is movably connected to a corresponding handle stanchion to pivot from a storage position to an extended position.

Other embodiments include chair fixing mechanism (14), (14a) to hold the device from moving, and stepper mechanism (11a), (11b), (22a), (22b) and varied track direction (12c) for diverse exercise of the user.

ELLIPTICAL TRAINER
20180290015 · 2018-10-11 ·

The invention relates to an elliptical trainer including: a frame having a first end and a second end; a rocker-rod mechanism hingedly connected to the first end of the frame; a pedal mechanism connected to the frame and the rocker-rod mechanism, the pedal mechanism being linked with the rocker-rod mechanism on the frame; a resistance adjustment mechanism provided at the first end of the frame, the resistance adjustment mechanism being connected to the pedal mechanism through a transmission mechanism for adjusting the movement resistance of the pedal mechanism. In the apparatus of the invention, there are two resistance adjustment ways i.e. manual resistance adjustment and electronic-controlled resistance adjustment, the user can select any one or both according to requirements. By combining the manual adjustment and the electronic controlled adjustment, the adjustable range of movement resistance is increased, and not only a wide range resistance control is achieved, but also fine-tuning of the movement resistance can be achieved manually.

A hockey training device is provided. The training device includes a substantially flat sheet with a smooth upper surface. The present invention includes a plurality of elastic band suspended to the upper surface. A first vertical post and a second vertical post may be attached to the flat sheet so that the elastic band is secured about the first and second vertical posts. The elastic band includes a front surface facing towards a center portion of the flat sheet. Therefore, a puck may be passed towards the elastic band and the elastic band rebounds the puck towards the user. The device may be used to train both backhand and forehand shooting and pucks skills. Further, the device may be used to train a sliding skating motion in a skating training mode.

Arm exercise device and system
10071280 · 2018-09-11 · ·

An arm rehabilitation system for exercising a user's arm. The system provides an arm support device moveable upon a support surface by a user's first arm. The arm support device has a main body configured to movably engage the support surface on one side and has a hand support portion on an opposing side at or toward one end of the body for supporting a user's hand of the first arm. A primary hand support formation protrudes from the hand support portion and a secondary hand support handle extends from the main body at or toward the periphery of the hand support portion. An adjustable switch support boom assembly is also mounted to the main body and has at least one operable user input component for generating an actuation signal in response to operation by the user. An onboard motion tracking system mounted to or within the main body is configured to sense motion of the main body to enable user interaction with an interactive computer system running an application program.
