EXERCISE EQUIPMENT AND METHOD OF EXERCISING UTILIZING A PULSE GENERATION
An exercise equipment configured to exercise muscles by require the muscles to generate torque intermittently is provided. The exercise equipment includes a sleeve. A pipe is slidably disposed within the sleeve. The sleeve is concentric to the pipe wherein the outer surface of the pipe is spaced apart the inner surface of the sleeve. A counterweight is mounted to at least one end of the pipe wherein the rotation of the pipe along an orbital path causes the pipe to turn within the bore of the sleeve. The turning of the pipe is a result of the counterweights completing a revolution as the counterweights rotate about the longitudinal axis of the pipe. The turning of the pipe generates a pulse so as to actuate muscular structure within the body of the user.
Core Roller Twist Exercise Machine
An exercise device that effectively targets and engages the abdominal and core muscles. The device includes a backrest, a first graspable pole, a second graspable pole, a height-adjustable headrest, and a rocking base. The rocking base acts as the supporting structure and includes a first rocker, a second rocker, and a bridge. The first rocker and the second rocker are connected to the bridge on either side. The backrest receives a user's back and is adjacently and pivotably mounted to the bridge, opposite the first rocker and the second rocker. The first graspable pole and the second graspable pole are positioned opposite to each other across the backrest. The first graspable pole and the second graspable pole are each laterally and rotatably mounted to the backrest. The height-adjustable headrest is centrally mounted in between the first graspable pole and the second graspable pole to receive the user's head.
Kinesthetic Exercise Support Apparatus
A kinesthetic exercise support apparatus is provided assistive of extension and flexion during calisthenics. The kinesthetic exercise support apparatus includes a hoop member, a hub member, a handle bar member, and a pair of chock members. The hoop member is disposed girding the hub member and includes a padded surface thereon. The hoop member has a width greater than a width of the hub member whereby the hoop member is caused to laterally overhang the hub member on either side. A handlebar member is insertable transversely through the hub member at each of a central aperture and at least one radial aperture. A pedal assembly is attachable to the handlebar member. A pair of chock members is further provided and devised to stabilize and immobilize the hoop member therebetween.
Interlocking fitness roller
An interlocking fitness roller is disclosed. The ends of a column-shaped roller body comprise retaining holes and locating holes. A hollow cylindrical assembly is inserted into a hollow interior of the column-shaped roller body. The hollow cylindrical assembly connects with elastic pieces, and each elastic piece comprises a retaining block and a positioning pin, which are respectively engaged with the retaining hole and the locating hole of the column-shaped roller body. The surface of the column-shaped roller body is covered by a pad. Accordingly, depending on different uses, the length of the interlocking fitness roller is adjustable. Two column-shaped roller bodies are connected by respectively engaging the retaining blocks and the positioning pins of the elastic pieces with the retaining holes and the locating holes, so as to is prevent the connection from becoming loose during rolling, thereby ensuring the robustness of the connection between the column-shaped roller bodies.
A GARMENT
A garment for increasing resistance to a wearer's body, the garment having a first portion with a fabric of a first resistance characteristic operable to stretch to conform with movement of the wearer's body and at least one second portion of a fabric having a second resistance characteristic, where the second portion conforms to an associated specific body area of the wearer's body such as a muscle or muscle group. Motion of the wearer's body causes the at least one second portion to either apply greater or lesser resistance to the associated specific body area of the wearer's body than the at least first portion applies to the wearer's body to enable targeting of resistance to specific body areas of muscle.
Exercise Machine
There is described a parallel bar exerciser suitable for simulating a horizontal ladder comprising a plurality of hand-bars; each hand bar being linked to a drive member said drive member being operably linked to a drive means.
Stretching Device to Restore and Protect Against the Negative Effects of Prolonged Sitting
The device and methods disclosed herein allow an individual to create and sustain a differential stretch to the anterior muscles and ligaments of the torso, hips and legs. The device includes a base frame, a vertical member secured to the base frame, a rotational lift lever secured to the vertical member at a pivot point, a lower extremity elevation member secured to the rotational lift lever, and at least one lower extremity attachment device secured to the lower extremity elevation member. In use, the device lifts an individual's legs above the ground, while the person is lying face down, so as to create a stretch in the anterior muscles, fascia, or ligaments. The device has various planes of rotation, allowing for differential stretching in various quadrants of the torso. The device is adjustable in height as well as displacement along a track within the base to accommodate different body types.
POWER TRAINING APPARATUS
The invention relates to a power training apparatus (10) with a manually actuatable operating element (30) which is coupled via a lever mechanism (20) to at least one unit (39, 41, 42) generating a resistance, wherein the lever mechanism (20) has, at a distance from a grip element (32) of the operating element (30), at least one first joint (26) which is mounted in a first axle (21) via at least one first joint lever (25), and having at least one second joint (35) which is arranged between the at least one first joint (26) and the grip element (32), wherein the at least one second joint (35) is mounted at least indirectly in a second axle (22) via at least one second joint lever (36), wherein one of the axles (21, 22) is operatively connected to the at least one unit (39, 41, 42), and wherein the other of the two axles (21, 22) is blocked or is pivotable about a small angle.
