COMBUSTION APPARATUS

A combustion apparatus includes a combustion part, a blower fan, an ignition device, and a control part. The control part selectively performs continuous combustion in which the combustion part is operated to burn continuously and intermittent combustion in which a combustion period and a non-combustion period of the combustion part are repeatedly provided. When the continuous combustion is stopped, the control part extinguishes the combustion part and operates the blower fan to perform a scavenging operation. When the combustion period in the intermittent combustion is ended, the control part extinguishes the combustion part and operates the blower fan to perform a scavenging operation in the non-combustion period. A total air blowing amount of the blower fan in the scavenging operation during the non-combustion period is set to be less than a total air blowing amount of the blower fan in the scavenging operation when the continuous combustion is stopped.

The present invention provides a combustion device. In ON-OFF combustion control processing for intermittently performing the combustion operation of burners (4), a control unit (30) of a combustion device (water heater) (1), which includes the burners (4), a fuel supply unit (5), and a combustion fan (10), controls the fuel supply unit (5) and the combustion fan (10) so as to change the amount of a fuel to be supplied to the burners (4) and the number of rotations of the combustion fan (10) according to a required amount of heat for the temperature control of a target fluid (water for hot water supply) when the burners (4) are ignited to restart a combustion operation after the burners (4) are extinguished.

Multi-outlet channel combination gas valve

A multi-outlet channel combination gas valve includes a valve body, a solenoid valve and a flow regulating mechanism. The valve body has a multiple of air outlets, at least two outlet channels formed between each air outlet and an air inlet of the valve body, a regulating port disposed in the at least two outlet channels, and the flow regulating mechanism can regulate the gas flow passing through each regulating port of the valve body at the same time, and a solenoid valve with a dual-coil electromagnet structure. When the valve is opened, a relatively larger current is passed, and then a very small current will be provided thereafter to maintain an operation by low power consumption. Therefore, this gas valve can be used without a mains power, and a low-level regulating structure is provided for presetting a low-level flow of each air outlet.

BURNER SYSTEM FOR ADVANCED GRILL

A burner system for use in a gas cooking grill has a primary burner in a firebox providing heat to a cooking surface above the primary burner and a secondary burner in the firebox selectively providing heat to a cooking grate such that ignition of the secondary burner provides an additional degree of heat to the cooking surface above the primary burner.

An all-purpose gas stove structure capable of increasing its air intake includes an all-purpose opening-covering case, an extended supporting frame, and at least one gas nozzle. The all-purpose opening-covering case includes an opening-covering case body for covering the heat source-receiving opening of a roasting/grilling device completely, and a gas controller with a gas operation unit for controlling the state of communication between gas input and output ends. The extended supporting frame is a box with a protective lid, is coupled to the inner side of the opening-covering case body at one end, and has a stove burner opening at the opposite end. The lateral walls of the protective lid are formed with vent holes. The gas nozzle is provided on the inner side of the stove burner opening. The all-purpose gas stove structure allows a ceramic roasting/grilling device to have a higher air intake and therefore produce higher heat.

Control systems and methods for cooktop appliances

Cooktop appliances are provided. A cooktop appliance can include a gas burner; a manifold having a gas input; a primary line extending between the manifold and the gas burner, wherein the primary line operates as a non-modulated minimum gas flow line when the cooktop appliance is in an automatic mode; a secondary line extending between the manifold and the gas burner, wherein a gas flow rate of the secondary line is controllable by a flow control valve; a primary valve in fluid communication with at least the primary line; and a control system including: a sensor configured to detect a temperature corresponding to the gas burner; and a controller regulating: (i) the flow control valve in response to the detected temperature to achieve a desired temperature, and (ii) the primary valve when the flow control valve is closed and the detected temperature exceeds the desired temperature.

A combustion apparatus includes a burner configured to produce flames, a first flame rod and a second flame rod, and a controller. The burner is configured to be controlled, by the controller, to be in a first output state, and a second output state in which output is smaller than in the first output state. The first flame rod makes contact with the flames produced at the burner in a normal combustion state. The second flame rod makes contact with the flames produced at the burner in the normal combustion state when the burner is being controlled to be in the first output state, and does not make contact with the flames produced at the burner in the normal combustion state when the burner is being controlled to be in the second output state.

In an example method for operating a gas burner appliance, during burner-on-phases, a gas/air mixture having a defined mixing ratio of gas and air is provided to a burner chamber. The gas/air mixture is provided by a mixing device that mixes an air flow with a gas flow. The air flow is provided by a fan in such a way that the fan speed of the fan depends on a desired burner load. During burner-on-phases, the combustion quality is monitored on the basis of a signal provided by a combustion quality sensor. The defined mixing ratio of gas and air of the gas/air mixture can be calibrated on the basis of the signal provided by the combustion quality sensor.
