Fitness System
A fitness system may be attachable to a doorway. The fitness system may include a bar, a first vertical track, and a second vertical track. The vertical tracks may be attached to opposite door jambs of a doorway. The first vertical track may have with receptacles for receiving a first end of the bar. The second vertical track may have receptacles for receiving a second end of the bar. When the bar is inserted into the receptacle on the first vertical track and the corresponding receptacle on the second vertical track the bar is parallel to the floor, suitable, for example, for supporting fitness activity.
Fitness apparatus for press-up exercises
Fitness equipment (1), in particular for the assisted performance of press-ups, comprising a support device (2) having a movable support (3) on which a user rests during use, and an assistance device (4) that is configured for generating an assistance force that moves the support (3) into an initial position, wherein the assistance device (4) is or comprises a traction device which is configured to generate an assistance force on the support (3) that moves the support (3) into the initial position and acts as a tensile force.
Walking training apparatus and walking training method therefor
A walking training apparatus includes a walking assistance apparatus attached to a leg of a user, a first pulling mechanism to pull the leg upward and forward, a controller configured to control the first pulling mechanism so that a vertically-upward component of a pulling force applied by the first pulling mechanism reduces a weight of the walking assistance apparatus, and a joint angle detector disposed in the walking assistance apparatus or an image pickup device to take an image of the leg of the user. The controller is configured to make the first pulling mechanism generate an additional pulling force in addition to the pulling force at a start of forward swinging of the leg or during a swinging period of the leg in a walking motion of the user, by using information detected by at least one of the joint angle detector and the image pickup device.
ROCK CLIMBING MACHINE COMPRISING AN ELASTIC CORD
The present invention refers to a rock climbing machine provided with elastic cords, comprising a bracket, a left grab rail, and a right grab rail, wherein the bracket comprises a front bracket, a rear bracket, and a guide bracket; the guide bracket is connected to an upper end of the front bracket. The rear bracket is connected to the guide bracket or the front bracket; which is provided by two parallel rails; one left and one right. The equipment also includes a left sliding member connected to the left guide rail, and to a left pedal; a traction rope is connected across the front pulley; one end of the traction rope is connected to the left sliding member, and the other end of the traction rope is connected to the right sliding member; a left elastic cord, that pass between, two left first guide wheels; one end of the left elastic cord is connected to the left grab rail, and the other end of the left elastic drag is connected to the bracket and; the right elastic cord passes through between the two right first guide wheels; and one end of the right elastic cord is connected to the right grab rail, and the other end of the right elastic cord is connected to the bracket. The equipment of the present invention can vary the magnitude of the force to be applied to the pedal, by changing the amount of stretch of the elastic cord, in order to adjust the intensity of the exercise.
Sports training device for creating adjustable load (variants)
A sports training device includes a stand, pivot axis, elements for a person training to apply force, and load device for creating an adjustable load. The load device includes weights and a U-shaped guide acting to protect against unauthorized removal of the weights, one end of which guide is connected via a bracket to the pivot axis, which is secured to the stand. The pivot plane of the load device is directed perpendicular or parallel or at an angle to a support surface. The center of mass of the load device is shifted, in the presence of even a minimal load, left or right from the pivot axis or coincides with the pivot axis. The elements for a person training to apply force are installed, relative to the load device, at a given height from the support surface in accordance with the direction of force from the person training and in accordance with the group of muscles receiving the load.
Pilates exercise machine
In one aspect of the present exercise machine, an assembly is attached to the end of a reformer, where the assembly comprises a seat mechanism and a pedal mechanism. The seat mechanism has a seat, a bracket supporting the seat, and a height adjustment system, where activation of the height adjustment system permits selective adjustment and locking of the height of the seat and the bracket by restricting travel of the seat and bracket to a slanted path that is slanted relative to the vertical. The pedal mechanism has an axle, a first pedal arm with a first pedal, and a second pedal arm with a second pedal. The pedal mechanism is located directly beneath the seat when the seat mechanism is in a lowest position and partially exposed in a higher position.
Hand-over-hand fitness machine and methods of use
An exercise machine. The machine includes a frame with front and rear upper support beams. Guide rails span between the two support beams and are connected thereto. Right and left handles are configured to slide back and forth along the length of the guide rails between the front and rear support beams. During operation of the machine, a user grabs the handles and moves them back and forth in a swinging motion that mimics traversing a set of monkey bars. The guide rails may be arranged in a non-parallel configuration to provide a more natural path for the user's hands during operation and to reduce unwanted stress on the user's shoulders by limiting handle movement along the path to accommodate a more comfortable range of motion.
